Salon Ori, on Selby in St. Paul’s Lex-Ham neighborhood, is looking for artists to show as soon as early-to-mid November. They are a busy, established salon of 16 years and have featured local artists since we opened, a new artist every 2-3 months. They have lots of natural light and big, tall walls, which can accommodate almost any work that can hang on wire. MASS MoCA's Early Application opportunity provides extended lead time for artists who need advance planning for their residency stays, with announcements made 9-15 months before sessions. This application track is designed for artists confident in securing external funding or paying full rate, making it easier to apply for grants from employers or arts councils. Artists applying through this route are not eligible for MASS MoCA's financial aid.

The I I I Artist Fund awards a grant to recent MFA graduates in Visual Art. Candidates must demonstrate a strong research-based practice that responds to contemporary contexts. Multidisciplinary and conceptual artists working in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, textile, installation, performance, sound, and video are encouraged to apply. The British Art Prize 2026, brought by STAEDTLER, is a major international art competition open to everyone whether amateur, emerging, or professional artist. The Society of Wildlife Artists invites artists to submit artwork depicting the world's wildlife, focusing on non-domestic animals such as birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, crustaceans, and insects. Buckham Gallery, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1984, accepts solo and group show proposals for their 44th Exhibition Season running October 2027 - September 2028. Moonee Valley City Council invites First Nations artists (individuals or in teams), who have a connection to Victoria, to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the development of a permanent Stolen Generations Marker (Marker) at Napier Park in Moonee Valley. The Stolen Generations Marker artwork may take a variety of forms. Artists (or teams) are encouraged to respond to the characteristics of the site and to consider large-scale, as well as intimate works, and a broad range of potential materials, landscaping and approaches. As a baseline for consultation, however, the Stolen Generations Marker Working Group has proposed the following creative suggestions for artists (or teams) to consider.

This call revolves around being a part of a commercial gallery on a regular basis with 5-10 works on hand. The call for regular gallery artists is directed towards professional artists. Professional Artists working in ALL MEDIUMS are welcomed to apply. Installation art and works that hang from a ceiling will also be considered. The call for artists has a warm heart for sculpture and metal casting as the gallery manager and curator is a sculptor. The Wassaic Project is currently holding an annual Open Call for our 2027 Summer Exhibition for artists of all mediums, including: 2D work, sculpture, video, new media, site-specific installation, performance, text, poems, essays, publication-specific work, etc. If selected, your work will be showcased alongside a diverse range of pieces and performances in and around historic Wassaic and Maxon Mills. The Wassaic Project's 2027 Summer Exhibition will be free and open to the public every weekend from May 1 - September 12, 2027. Artists interested in creating a site-specific installation for the 2027 Summer Exhibition are eligible for an Exhibitions Fellowship.

Frankston City Council is proud to support local artists to create work that contributes to our vibrancy, culture and community. This juried show and sale invites artists to submit original work for consideration for exhibition and sale at Main Street Gallery. Selected artists have their work displayed and offered for sale to the gallery's visiting public, with the gallery handling transactions and payment to artists after the close of the show. The exhibition excludes photography, video, digital prints, crafts, jewelry, and fiber or fabric work, focusing on framed or gallery-wrapped paintings and similar 2D and dimensional work. Artists are notified of jury decisions by email and accepted work must be hand delivered to the gallery for the run of the show.

This residency is open to emerging and mid-career artists working in all disciplines across the Bay Area. For four months the artist-in-residence will be given a studio in the Quinn Emanuel Silicon Valley office to support their existing practice or a new project as appropriate.

At the end of the residency an exhibition will be held to display the works of the artist and at least one work will be incorporated into the permanent collection. A supporting stipend will be provided, as well as materials allowance. Over the course of a year there will be 1 residency cycle, 2 artists will participate in a four month residency and a subsequent exhibition in a location deemed appropriate for the work decided on between the artists and curator.

UNSW Library seeks an alumni artist to create a temporary internal mural. The piece should reflect innovation, community, and lifelong learning. The UNSW Library Alumni Mural program is a curated initiative to transform the Library’s internal environment through site-specific contemporary art. The successful applicant will deliver a temporary mural for the Main Library at UNSW Sydney. This artwork will be located in a busy entrance area of the building, ensuring high visibility for the Library’s visitors. This project aims to enhance the student experience and celebrate the diversity and excellence of the UNSW graduate community.

This artist-run residency takes place in a bio-restored 14th-century tower house in Navarra, Spain, surrounded by forest, meadow, and stream and sustained by solar energy and rainwater. Participating artists share a large studio, outdoor workspace, and communal living quarters with a small cohort of residents. The program has a particular interest in artists working with natural pigments, dyes, fibres, wax, clay, resin, and land art practices. Residents gain access to a rural, ecologically-focused setting intended to support slow, materially engaged creative work and exchange with other interdisciplinary practitioners during their stay.

The Blu Sky Artist Award: August 2026 Edition is an international art award hosted by Ten Moir Gallery, created for artists seeking meaningful visibility, professional recognition, and real promotional value.

Two artists will each receive a $500 cash award, one in Traditional/Mixed Media and one in Photography/Digital, with additional finalists selected for feature opportunities. The award package includes artist interviews, press release distribution, collector-focused catalogue inclusion, certificates, badges, and permanent website placement.

The award is open worldwide, accepts 2D and 3D media, and allows artists to submit up to 10 images. For this edition, the fee has been simplified to a lower flat rate of $28, replacing the former tiered pricing model. Deadline: August 15, 2026.

Established in 2009, the Hornsby Art Prize is organized and sponsored by Hornsby Shire Council and delivered in partnership with the Hornsby Art Society. The Photo Trouvée Artist Residency is a 10 week virtual program led by Juliana Naufel & Twiggy Boyer--founders of Photo Trouvée Magazine-- in which artists are invited to set goals, carve out time for their art practice, focus on a project and connect with like-minded artists from around the world. The Art + Design Department at the University of Tampa announces an open call for applications to the 2027 Meridian Scholar Program. Quilt National '27 explores the expanded field of quilting, showcasing textile-based contemporary art and fiber as a medium for material inquiry. The exhibition features works that interrogate surface, structure, labor, gender, and politics, merging craft, design, and fine art while repositioning quilt-making within contemporary art discourse. The work must be composed of at least two layers and must be held together by elements that merge all layers, and are distributed throughout the surface of the artwork.

The Liu Shiming Art Foundation offers project-based grants to support artists pursuing new creative work. Funded projects are selected through an application and review process, with successful applicants notified directly by the foundation. Grant funds are released once the proposed project has been completed, encouraging accountable and completed creative output. The grant program is designed to give practicing artists direct financial support for developing new bodies of work, independent of exhibition or gallery representation, making it a flexible funding source for artists at various career stages.

The Western Illinois University Art Gallery presents a schedule of changing exhibitions throughout the academic year to introduce WIU students, faculty and staff, as well as the western Illinois region, to a variety of art forms in a wide range of mediums. This month-long residency is designed for an artist whose work explores aesthetic beauty. The Hale MFA Residency provides space and time for artists to focus solely on their work. There is no expectation to teach, exhibit, or present work. Hale Residencies take place only during the months of January, February, and March. There is no expectation for the resident to teach, but they do encourage exhibition and other community engagement.
