They are seeking 20 contributors whose work will be featured in the publication, which will be available both online and in print. Queer Migrations celebrates the lives, movements, and imaginations of LGBTQIA+ migrants, refugees, and diasporic communities. They are interested in stories of migration, memory, belonging, displacement, survival, resistance, ancestry, and home, and welcome personal, political, historical, intimate, and experimental responses to these themes. They invite submissions from LGBTQIA+ people with lived experience of migration, displacement, diaspora, refuge, or transnational belonging, whose work and artistic practice explores, reflects on, or connects with queer migrations in all its forms, across a wide range of creative practices, including (but not limited to) visual art and writing.
