The Western Spirit Juried Art Show & Sale (WSJASS) is the premier annual juried art show in the Rocky Mountain Region for emerging and established artists who create original art depicting the American West. Accepted categories for the show are Acrylic, Drawing, Mixed-Media (including digital drawings), Oil, Pastel, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Watercolor. The Museum/Jurors have the right to change the category for jurying. All art in the Western Spirit Juried Art Show & Sale is selected by an independent jury comprised of professionals in the western art community. Artwork for the Vandewark Miniature Show is selected by the artist following acceptance into Western Spirit.

Artists will create and display art based on the theme of pink and white blossoms in a county- wide art show held throughout Howard County during March 2025. The arts community including private art galleries in Howard County are already on board for this art extravaganza and many other locations including: The Welcome Center, Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, Savage Mill mall, Robinson Nature Center, Howard Community College and Howard County 50+ Centers to name a few, will also be involved. Maps will be available for the public highlighting all art locations and installations showing both private galleries and the open show.

The Center for Genomics and Systems Biology (CGSB) New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) was established in 2012 to develop a world-class research environment at NYUAD and in the UAE. The NYUAD-CGSB includes a diverse array of research programs oriented around two main directions, “Biomedicine and Health” and “Environmental Adaptation and Sustainability.” The CGSB encourages and promotes scientific and cultural interactions by regularly hosting events such as lectures, workshops, and Science Cafés, facilitating the exchange of ideas and knowledge between program participants and the community. The Wurtele Center for Leadership and Lazarus Center for Career Development announce a co-sponsored search for an artist to create a temporary mural for the main stairwell of Kathleen McCartney Hall, a new campus building for the Wurtele and Lazarus Centers. Thematically, the mural will explore the future(s) of work and leadership, framed within the context of Smith College’s history as a women’s college with a mission to develop “engaged global citizens and leaders to address society’s challenges.”

Mid West Center for Photography, Winter exhibition. Photographing this winter splendor is for the adventurous at heart and the wonder of it all is worth facing the cold to get those great shots. Images of the bare trees, the snow covered mountains and plains, details of the landscape and warm interior spaces are what will make up the photographs in the Wintertime exhibition. All of the details of the feeling of the season are the types of photographs that MWCP are interested in for this upcoming exhibition.

PSTA, in partnership with the City of Clearwater, seeks an artist or team to develop artwork for the PSTA Clearwater MTC (Multimodal Transit Center) which will be a new multi-modal transportation facility in downtown Clearwater, Florida. This art piece will be located within the city’s Downtown Core, in an area that will include the PSTA Clearwater MTC and a newly constructed Clearwater City Hall. The art is planned as a focal point within a small public plaza to enhance a sense of place in Clearwater’s Downtown and also to become a keystone for visitors and locals as they pass.

The Showcase 2025 program will feature local and regional artists in Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery, 701 Water Street, Port Townsend. For 2025, the program will feature approximately 35 artists who will show across three separate periods (from January-May, May-September, and September-December). Artists will be chosen by a panel of Northwind Art curators. They will be judging the quality, professionalism, and sales potential of the work. The selection committee will look for a cohesive body of work from each artist. Our final artist selections will reflect a variety of media, techniques, and styles.

Applicants are invited to apply for the 2025 Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) Artist-in-Residence (AiR) program in Lead, South Dakota. The SURF AiR program provides opportunities for artists to create work inspired by the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF), which is set in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. SURF’s unique location and history make it an ideal place for creative work. At 4,850 feet deep, SURF is the deepest underground laboratory in the United States and is located in the former Homestake Gold Mine. The facility houses experiments in physics, biology, geology, and engineering.

The Billboard Creative (TBC) annual exhibition is a chance to have your work on a billboard in LA. TBC's shows places mass-scale works on dozens of billboards throughout LA, showcasing emerging, under-appreciated and mid-career artists alongside recognized leaders in the industry.

TBC shows are styled like a traditional gallery show but the city becomes the walls. Billboards by TBC artists have been passed by cars more than 67 million times. Strategically placed in high-traffic neighborhoods near galleries, museums and art districts, each billboard is designed to amplify your impact. To date, the show has also earned coverage in Hyperallergic, Huffington Post, NPR, and The Creators Project among others.

Selected artists will receive a billboard for 4 weeks and be part of the LA exhibition.

Registration is now live for the Traditional and Contemporary Arts Tour of Japan with artist Judith Kruger, running from May 20 to June 1, 2025. This curated tour includes visits to master-makers’ studios in Kyoto, Tokyo, and rural areas. Judith partners with a Condé Nast-awarded Japan Specialist and bilingual guide for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Participants will explore ceramics, printmaking, nihonga, and Japanese art materials, as well as contemporary and traditional architecture. Highlights include museum visits, indigo dyeing, Noh theater, and Buddhist temples

The estimated tour price is $8,125 based on a group of 14 with a single supplement of $1,375. The final price will be refined - dependent on the exchange rate and the final size of the group. A $1,000 deposit will be required and not cashed until group is filled.

Healdsburg Center for the Arts celebrates art that is “Formed in Fire” – metalwork, glass and ceramics. They welcome work from the most delicate of jewelry pieces and glasswork, to robust pit-fired ceramics.

Mark Arts in Wichita, Kansas, invites submissions for an innovative exhibition that explores and celebrates fashion in fine art. Clothing and accessories have long been the narrative tools artists use to position their subjects in place and time. From John Singer Sargeant’s shocking Madame X in 1884 to Amy Sherald’s 2018 official portrait of Michelle Obama in a couture dress (by Michelle Smith for Milly), artists have used fashion in their work to disrupt orthodoxy. À la Mode: The Language of Fashion in Art will examine the way that artists utilize and manipulate fashion within their own art practice.

The exhibition juror is Shana Levenson, who will also be conducting an artist talk and Artisan Academy Workshop at Mark Arts in Wichita, Kansas, during the run of the exhibition.

The Small Works exhibition that will run from December 6-22 is our Element of Celebration! The Small Works exhibition is intended to make art more accessible to first time buyers, holiday shoppers and seasoned collectors, alike.

The City of Keller Public Arts Board and the Park Board have come together to form a subcommittee to oversee the design and installation of eight unique outdoor murals that shall be located at the Keller Sports Park south and west walls. The group seeks a digital artist to design each mural. This project intends to turn high resolution digital submittals into physical designs applied to brick walls through the use of brick wrap.

The expansion will feature new softball fields, youth baseball and multipurpose fields, baseball fields, a rodeo area, soccer and lacrosse fields, and a rugby field.

The City of Keller will provide a 4”x6” plaque for the mural to include artwork title, artist name and year of installation.

The Hale Masters of Fine Art Fellowship funds artists who either have recently graduated (within 5 years) from or are currently enrolled in an MFA graduate program. This is a month long residency is designed for an artist whose work explores aesthetic beauty. The Hale MFA Fellowship provides space and time for artists to focus solely on their work. There is no expectation to teach, exhibit, or present work. Hale Fellowships take place only during the months of January, February, and March. There is no expectation for the resident to teach, but we do encourage exhibition and other community engagement.

Emerging and mid-career artists are invited to submit their work for consideration in this group exhibition. All submissions will be considered for the Exhibition and the accompanying Online Exhibition. Simultaneously, Field Projects Panel will be considering the submissions for future Solo Shows, Art Fairs, Group Shows, Off-site Exhibitions, feature on their social media and their studio visit program (NY Artists). About 85% of the artists they have shown at Field Project are discovered through the open call process.

Trompe L’oeil invites artists to create work centered around ideas of illusion, perception and reality. A French phrase meaning ‘deceives the eye’, Trompe L’oeil is a theme in art, generally used to describe work that creates a true-to-life depiction of a real object, scene or being. The A.I.R. Fellowship Program has awarded more than 120 artists the opportunity to have their first solo exhibition in New York City with the support of the A.I.R. community. The program encourages artistic experimentation and rigor by providing a space where feminist historical legacy and intergenerational dialogue are at the forefront. Essential to this process are a series of professional development workshops, close collaboration with an A.I.R. artist-mentor, and scheduled studio visits throughout the year, including one with a selection panelist.

The theme of this juried show broadly concerns the human figure. This “figuration” can literally portray the human form, in any size, shape, sex or situation to the essence or abstraction of the figure. The juror will be seeking humanity in the “human form”. This can be represented in a wide range media: drawing, mixed media, printmaking, collage or sculpture. As depicted over centuries, the gamut of emotion, expressivity, individualism and physicality to be found in the figure is endless. What is out there in contemporary figuration now? What messages and stories through depictions exploring the human form are relevant, fresh, timeless ,surprising and challenging today?

Artistic Production grants fund the production and exhibition of new artistic commissions, in amounts ranging between $25,000 – $100,000. Often exhibited beyond museum walls in public space, these projects feature high levels of thought leadership, artistic production, and public engagement. CNL Projects, LK Architecture and the City of Wichita invite artists and artist teams with a demonstrated history of completing complex, permanent, outdoor public art projects (and/or other relevant experiences) to submit their qualifications for one of three public art commissions for a $592,000 Arkansas River Public Art Project. This project aims to enhance the aesthetics, safety, and accessibility of the Arkansas Riverfront through downtown Wichita, building upon its character and topography to create unique experiences and spaces for the public. The project will complement and support adjacent development cohesively and seamlessly, creating opportunities for public art to enhance the experience of the riverfront and Wichita.

The Stanley Bleifeld Memorial Grant is a prize of $5,000 sponsored by the National Sculpture Society.

It is awarded annually to a sculptor who has demonstrated outstanding ability as a sculptor and who has created a body of work inspired by nature which includes works of sculpture in the round and in bas-relief.

The Bleifeld Grant is for a mature body of work; sculpture created in workshop or instructional settings should not be submitted. Applicants cannot be elected members of the National Sculpture Society. All applicants must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number.

The jury will consist of three persons, including at least two sculptors. The grant will be awarded in June 2025.

Gallatin County is inviting professional or emerging visual artists, or artist teams, to submit proposals for the creation of original artwork that embodies the themes of justice, reconciliation, and peace.

The objective of this artwork is to contribute to a serene and restorative environment within the new Gallatin County Courts Building. The commissioned artist will be responsible for developing a site-specific installation that harmonizes with the Center’s design and mission. This installation should enhance the atmosphere by fostering a sense of calm and renewal, aligning with the values and purpose of the Law and Justice Center.

Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) has been invited to exhibit artwork at the Lowe House of Delegates Building in Annapolis, Maryland. Arts Benicia, a non-profit art center in Benicia, CA, invites artists to submit artwork for Forma Natura: Nature as Source, a juried exhibition that seeks to showcase artists’ representations of the natural world. The Fitton Center for Creative Arts is accepting proposals in all visual art media for solo and group exhibitions for the 2025-2026 schedule. A community art center on the Great Miami River in arts-driven downtown Hamilton, Ohio, the Fitton Center welcomes thousands of participants monthly. The Fitton Center offers exhibitions, classes, performances, field trips, rentals and more! Gallery openings are typically attended by over 250 people. Four galleries provide 2,600 square feet of space with an additional Corridor Gallery to expand wall space as needed. Solo artists generally are asked to exhibit 10 to 25 works, depending on scale, media and available space.

The UCF Art Gallery at the University of Central Florida is seeking Exhibition Proposals for 2026-2028. Solo artists, artist groups and curators are encouraged to apply. The gallery is in the University of Central Florida’s School of Visual Arts and Design in Orlando, Florida. The gallery has about 3700 square feet of space with over 230 linear feet of wall space and about 96 feet of moveable wall space.

Eligibility: Artists/curators should not currently be enrolled in an undergraduate academic program. Submission materials should demonstrate professional experience and preparedness for a solo exhibition / exhibition curation. Artists must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States.

The 40th Annual International Exhibition is a juried visual art competition organized by the Department of Art and Art History at The University of Texas at Tyler. The Department purchases three to six works from the exhibition each year; purchased works are added to their permanent collection. The permanent collection serves as an educational teaching resource; much of the permanent collection is exhibited throughout the UT Tyler main campus.

The MSU Museum CoLab Studio invites bold and innovative proposals for our upcoming exhibition, “Blurred Realities.” This exhibition and public programming series will delve into contemporary questions that challenge our perception and understanding of what is real and authentic. In an era of new and evolving technology, “Blurred Realities” seeks to explore real and surrogate objects and media, authenticity and deception, and information and disinformation. With the rise of 3D-printed materials, generative AI, deep fakes, synthetic voices, and simulated realities, how do we distinguish between authentic information and deceptive fabrications?

BolsterArts Residency awards two artists, selected by a jury, a rent-free, 360sq ft studio space to share in Chinatown, Manhattan, concluding in two-person exhibition at All Street Gallery in the East Village. The Artist’s Book Grant is a six- to eight-week residency for artists to produce a limited edition book work. Working intensively in studios, artists print and bind their own books, and are encouraged to create an edition size no larger than 100 and no smaller than 50. The grant includes a stipend of $350/week, up to $1000 for materials, up to $250 for travel within the Continental US, free onsite housing, and 24/7 studio access. WSW can provide technical advice; training on new equipment, techniques, and materials; and production assistance.

The Dresher Ensemble Artist Residency (D.E.A.R.) was established in 2012 to support Northern California artists actively exploring new aesthetic premises and pushing the boundaries of conventional art forms and media. The program provides artists free studio space and up-to-date equipment to create new work in time-based arts such as theater/performance, dance/movement, music/sound art/instrument invention, and collaborative and interdisciplinary work. D.E.A.R. grants up to six awards annually to individual artists or groups of artists collaborating on a single project. The lead artist must be a Northern California resident and not a student at the time of the application and residency.

Since its inception in 1975, The Harding Art Show has become one of the largest and most profitable fine art exhibitions in the Southeastern United States. The City of Golden Public Art Commission (PAC) is seeking a qualified artist to create two original artistic bike corrals for downtown Golden. Downtown consists of a three-block mixed use neighborhood with apartments, homes, shops, restaurants, Clear Creek, and parking, within Golden’s municipal boundaries. The artist fee is not to exceed $25,000.

Alaska Native visual artists living in the United States are welcome to apply. Artists may use existing work in their application but are strongly encouraged to develop new work for this opportunity. Applications will be reviewed by a committee made up of museum staff and artist professionals. Selections will be based primarily on the quality of the work presented, but also on the artist’s record of professional activity (artist’s resume) and their exhibition proposal (letter of intent). Three artists will be selected for solo exhibitions to take place from February through mid-April of 2026, February through mid-April of 2027, and February through mid-April of 2028. Selected artists will be announced in December 2024.

Apply to have your work considered in the art book, Volume 21, by Friend of the Artist (FOA). FOA is dedicated to elevating the work of emerging artists of all mediums around the world through their high quality art books and caliber of exposure. "Marks" symbolize both individual and collective identities, capturing the unique traces left by each person and culture. Artists worldwide are invited to submit work for this open call, centered on the theme of "Marks" and its ability to convey individual and communal traces.

Tendrils is seeking submissions of visual art and short-form literature for its premiere issue. As an art and literary journal, Tendrils is dedicated to fostering healing and sparking conversations around trauma.

The first edition of Tendrils will explore the profound theme of trauma and the body—how it is held, manifested, and transmitted in physical form. Creators are invited to interpret this theme in their unique way, whether conceptually in abstraction or more realistically.

Buckham Gallery invites you to enter Eros & Thanatos, a national competition established to explore the Greek words for Love and Death. Eros, Greek god of love and sex, and Thanatos, the personification of death, have been used throughout western culture to symbolize the driving forces of life, love, sexuality and creativity as well as acknowledging our own mortality. All styles, media, and interpretations are welcome and encouraged.

Each residency will take place over a six-week period in which the artist resides and works in Alcalde, New Mexico. Artists will have access to and are encouraged to interact with the land, culture, and the extensive local historic archival materials at the sites, visitor center and surrounding area.

The culmination of the residency centers on the artist’s research and development of new work that showcases ideas and work created during their six-week stay at Los Luceros.

Public engagement opportunities include, but are not limited to: an artist talk or exhibition, workshop, temporary site-specific installations, performances, etc. Artwork and community engagement should be safe and appropriate for both children and adults, ADA compliant, and should not permanently alter the environment when removed.

The Art in Public Places Program of New Mexico Arts and the Local Selection Committee (LSC) of Eastern New Mexico University, Portales seek to commission and artist/artist team to create and install artwork in the newly renovated Roosevelt Science Center on the campus. These artworks should require low maintenance and will need to withstand a permanent installation indoors in one or more of the three identified areas within the building. The CAIN National Show attracts works by contemporary artists across the country and is judged by a guest juror of national stature. Resulting Purchase Awards have built an impressive Permanent Collection at Del Mar College.

Every year KIRA awards 6 artists with a multi-week residency. Artists are provided with individual studio space, comfortable housing, two meals each day and live on a historic property in a beautiful seaside town. Artists should bring all supplies and materials needed for their creative process, to ensure availability of required supplies and provisions. As part of the residency, artists will be asked to engage with the community for up to six hours a week. These engagements will vary based on skills and interest and can include a partnership with Kingsbrae Garden which is located just steps away from the residence and studios.

Within the broad spectrum of artistic residencies, this 5-days Micro Residence is a new concept of work that seeks significant results in a stimulating environment. This short space of time fosters informal knowledge and exchange, both for the resident and the host organization and, to some extent, between the resident and the local art scene.

The Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) emergency relief grant focuses on artists working in craft or materials-based folk/traditional disciplines that are 18 years or older and have resided and worked in the U.S. or U.S. territories for the past 2 years. These artists must have experienced a recent, unforeseen, career threatening emergency. Emergency Relief is available year-round.
The Get Ready Grant program provides individual craft artists grants up to $500 to conduct activities that will help safeguard their studios, protect their careers and prepare for emergencies. Artists are encouraged to use the Risk Assessment activity to generate ideas. Priority will be given to applications from people who identify in the global majority or as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)* and folk and traditional artists. Get Ready Grants are available multiple times a year. Check the website for deadlines.

NES Artist Residency was founded in March 2008 in Skagaströnd, a small town in northwest Iceland. The first artists in residence arrived in June of that year. Now one of the largest residencies in Iceland, NES currently hosts between 90-120 artists per year. NES provides artists with a workspace and living quarters within Skagaströnd, and the freedom to create as they wish.

During their stay, artists live in shared houses throughout the town. The NES studios, located at Fjörubraut 8, are housed in what once was the main fish processing plant of Skagaströnd.

NES is a multidisciplinary residency. We accept applicants from all creative fields and career stages. Additionally, we offer a writer-in-residence program in collaboration with the University of Iceland; likewise, we are able to coordinate access to additional facilities for dancers, composers, musicians, filmmakers, and researchers, or anyone who might require additional space to work. NES accepts applicants on the basis of self-definition, and we, therefore, do not seek to define “who is an artist” when evaluating applications.

In addition to offering year-round residency programs, NES also operates as an educational resource. We work with local lecturers and educators to develop both national and international educational exchange programs. ABOUT THE FELLOWSHIP

Our mission is to champion a contemporary approach to metal casting. It’s a mindset we share with the artists & designers we work with - having the courage to ignore, bend and push the rules associated with our craft.

We’re aware that for many artists, a major barrier to working in bronze is the access & cost of the process. In response, we created the London Bronze Fellowship - an opportunity for you to pitch a new work to us, which we will then share with potential sponsors who will select & jointly fund the fellowship with LBE.

When a sponsor (Gallery / Collector / Corporate) selects an artwork, the fellowship will be scheduled in, giving the artist access to the Foundry to learn from the production. A limited Edition of 3 artworks will be made, one free copy for the Artist, one for the Sponsor & one for London Bronze Editions.

We’re open to hearing ambitious, experimental & creative ideas. It can be made using traditional or digital processes, where the work is ready to be cast, or needs development through 3D modelling.

One of our most vital services, the SubletSeries@HERE supports 150 guest independent artists and groups—such as Colt Coeur, Ma-Yi, and New Georges each season. As Ben Brantley of The New York Times states, “HERE’s Sublet Series allows artists to develop and perform work, at a discount.”

This creative curated rental program has allowed many upstart companies and emerging artists to realize their full artistic vision on a small budget. The program provides subsidized performance and rehearsal space, a technical liaison, and administrative support, including a fully staffed box office. SubletSeries@HERE artists can also access equipment that is not typically available in venues our size such as video projectors, wireless microphones, LEDs—all for free or at subsidized rates. We accept applications from artists all over the world for the opportunity to show work.

The Awesome Foundation is an ever-growing worldwide community devoted to forwarding the interest of awesome in the universe. Created in the long hot summer days of 2009 in Boston, the Foundation distributes $1,000 grants, no strings attached, to projects and their creators. At each fully autonomous chapter, the money is pooled together from the coffers of ten or so self-organizing “micro-trustees” and given up front in cash, check, or gold doubloons.

Cultural sector workers based in Greater Austin facing verifiable and immediate housing, food or healthcare insecurity (including travel, lodging and procedure expenses related to reproductive care) may apply for up to $1000 in unrestricted funds. The funding pool is limited, so applicants are asked to carefully consider the amount they request. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and are subject to verification and available funds. A short phone interview may be required. Priority will be given to ACA members. Repayment is not required, but artists who receive funding may be asked to support the ACA Community in the future.

Willowtail is a unique property, offering one – three week residencies that have a special appeal to artists. The Black Artists Grant (BAG) offered by Creative Debuts as a no-strings attached financial support to help black artists. They can spend the grant on whatever they want – be that make new work, buy equipment or materials, travel, research, visit exhibitions or conferences, or to even just cover some life expenses.

This grant has been set up because black artists are systematically under-supported by the art world; by institutions, curators, the artist-led scene, major and minor funding bodies, the market, art schools, and by audiences too.

The Artist In Residence Program (AIR) serves K – 5 students in all six Jamestown elementary schools following the school calendar. Residency options include a fall semester and a winter/spring semester, or both. Artists follow a visual arts curriculum structured on basic design elements working with teachers and administrators. Each rotation requires a completed “Unit Plan” which includes lesson plans or goals, supplies needed, and a section for teacher feedback.
The resident artist may use the rest of the day and the weekends for personal studio time, including access to the pottery studio and print shop, and teaching classes at the Arts Center.

Local studio artist residencies are open to local artists who wish to rent either live/work or day studios at the center for terms of 1-2 years with a possibility for renewal. We have artist studios on two campuses – on our 18th Street campus at 1639 18th Street, and the Airport campus at 3026 Airport Ave at the Santa Monica airport. On our 18th Street campus, these studios are subsidized in part by 18th Street Arts Center at far below market rate in an effort to provide local artists with affordable rental properties within Santa Monica. Our Airport campus is a city-owned building and artists lease directly with the City of Santa Monica, who set the terms for the leases on that site, with 18th Street Arts Center acting as facility and program managers. The local studio program is open to artists of all disciplines, as well as small, artist-run initiatives. When a space becomes available, applications are reviewed by an impartial jury and artists are selected at that time. Applicants should indicate their space and affordability requirements, as well as which campus they prefer.

Three times per year, downtown OKC IT firm amshot hosts an art opening featuring the art work of a local artist. The event benefits a local charitable organization and artists retain 90 percent of their sales.

As a local business, amshot typically focuses on IT services and software development, but our team is also passionate about supporting the local art community. With this in mind, we created exhibITion to promote local artists, give back to our community, and enjoy the company of fellow art-lovers.

Three times per year, we feature a local artist’s work on our office walls, host an art exhibition and sale, invite a local brewery, serve wine and hors d’oeuvres, and donate the proceeds of the event to a charitable organization.

The art show is hosted at amshot’s office in Downtown OKC. Admission to the gallery is free, but those 21+ can donate $5 to the featured charitable organization in exchange for a wristband that will allow them beer from the featured local brewery and wine. Light hors d’oeuvres are also served. All art displayed will be for sale and can be purchased with card or cash. The sold and unsold art will then hang in amshot’s office until the next exhibITion for all to enjoy.

The School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa (SPAO) invites applications for the Artist in Residence for Photographers and Photo-Based Artists. This 6-month photographic mentorship and residency is one of the most unique residencies of its kind. This residency is designed for visual artists who have previously completed formal training in visual arts and/or lens-based media and are ready to intensely focus on an aspect of their existing career or on a specific upcoming project.

SPAO’s Spectrum Bursary provides $3000 to artists from racialized and underrepresented communities to use towards the SPAO Residency.

The Jar of Love Fund is intended to provide relief for artists, curators, and cultural producers of color. The Jar of Love Fund has distributed over $100,000 USD and first launched in 2020 in response to the unprecedented times of uncertainty, unrest, and the subsequent adverse impact on our community.

For the past decade, ARTNOIR has worked tirelessly to be an agent of social change catalyzing equity across the arts and culture industries. As an organization based on the foundation of community first, we want to do our part to provide love and care for artists, curators and cultural producers of color when they need it most. The unrestricted grant is designed to help remove some of the burden of thought and free up mental and spiritual capacity to continue creating and collaborating in strength. The arts and culture are the bedrock of any society. These are spaces that invite us to think critically and engage in rigorous discourse around the tough challenges we face as a community. As we reflect on the decade worth of work we have done as an organization, it is imperative that we utilize our network and resources to ensure that creatives have the capacity to create and be the spark of joy we need in our lives.

We are committed to ensuring that artists, curators and cultural producers of all gender expressions, sexual orientation, disability status, and socioeconomic class have access to the fund and will actively work to ensure outreach is targeted to groups otherwise excluded from resources of this nature. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis as funds become available. Microgrant amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the scale of the project.

Stochastic Labs awards fully-sponsored residencies to exceptional engineers, artists, scientists, and entrepreneurs from around the world. Residencies are of variable length and include a private apartment at the mansion, co-working and/or dedicated workspace, shop access (laser cutter, 3D printer etc), a $1k monthly stipend and a budget for materials. Residents become part of Stochastic’s creative community, participating in weekly dinners and invitation events. Residents may apply as individuals or as teams. The Mexican Ceramics Residency is a 5-week mentored, assisted and supervised production residency program. In addition to the individual mentoring provided by their directorial and curatorial staff for personalized research assistance/resources, project guidance, and critique, this program offers the unique opportunity to produce a variety of work on-site at Arquetopia or at their partnered studio in Cholula and includes technique assistance and supervision from their experienced and local master ceramist from the community. The technique and studio facilities work according to the colonial ordinances of Puebla and the Talavera methods focus on handmade processes; no industrial chemicals have been incorporated into the clay or glazes.

Casa Lü is an artist residency and community in Mexico City dedicated to nurturing creative growth, innovation, and interdisciplinary dialogue. With a legacy of hosting over 400 international artists, the program provides a dynamic environment for exploring new ideas, techniques, and perspectives. Casa Lü Parque offers unique settings for artistic investigation, cultural immersion, and focused creation. Grounded in the Tibetan concept of 'lü'—the ephemeral trace we leave behind—the program fosters an ethos of experimentation, boundary-pushing, and critical reflection. By embracing impermanence, Casa Lü cultivates a space for artistic inquiry, dialogue, and meaningful exchange, where artists can deeply engage with their practice and continuously reimagine their approach to art-making within a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment.

La Maison de Beaumont offers an Artist Residency in Provence & Luberon as part of the prestigious ResArtis network (a worldwide network of 550 vetted members operating in 75 countries), as well as part of the Artist Communities program.

The Artist Residency of La Maison de Beaumont was created with the goal of offering a retreat for musicians, scholars, writers and painters, who seek a quiet place to work undisturbed on their art. We established the Community Fund to provide support to professional creators during times of extraordinary hardship.

This year, we have witnessed the unprovoked, violent attacks on Ukraine and the tragic loss of innocent lives. As we see continue to see this tragedy unfold, we believe we have a responsibility to support professional creators during the growing humanitarian crisis and refugee situation in the region. We will now be focusing our Community Fund efforts on providing support to those creators who have been directly impacted by the unjustified invasion of Ukraine.

If selected, you will receive US$10,000 from the Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund. Edenhope Artist Residency is a local artist-run small business in Edenhope, Victoria, Australia.
The residency program is open to all types of artists, scientists, makers, designers, and educators looking for time and space to work on their own projects in an open-plan studio space. Each artist gets a private bedroom in a house attached to the studio shared only with the other residency participants. Other activities held at EAR include workshops open to the local community, artist talks, and pop up exhibitions. EAR aims to engage international and local Australian artists interested in experiencing a new location with stays of between 1 and 3 months and we offer premium creative facilities including a printing press, 2 x 3D printers, large format Epson printer, access to kiln, and a heavy duty sewing machine.
The goal of EAR is to provide a positive and productive location for artists from all
over the world to come and stay and create new work and networks. While artists are in residence there are no creative expectations but are invited to participate in an artist talk / presentation once a month which are private but occasionally community members may be invited to. We also hold Open Days on a monthly basis where members of the public are able to visit the studio spaces. Artists are also encouraged to exhibit their work during their stay and this can be arranged on an individual basis. There are a number of locations around town that may be utilised upon arrangement.

Edenhope is a small town with daily conveniences such as a supermarket (with hardware & haberdashery), post office, pharmacy and a pub and cafe/bakery. There is also a medical centre, hospital, variety of churches, motel with restaurant, local community art gallery, opp shop, antique shop, and the southern hemisphere’s only Dachshund Museum!

There is a strong arts presence in the wider area with both nearest major towns home to regional galleries, a number of arts festivals and the nearby Silo Arts Trail. Group trips and tours can be arranged to visit local hiking spots, geological sites, galleries and places of interest, and larger towns for shopping.

With natural scenery, farmland and key geographical sites of interest in all directions including the World Heritage Listed Naracoorte Caves, Bailey’s Rocks, Mt Arapiles (known for its world class mountain climbing), Little Desert National Park, and the Coonawarra Wine Region nearby. A number of exciting and inspiring locations are a day trip away including the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, pink Lake Tyrrell, Victoria’s largest saltwater lake and the Murtoa Stick Shed.

Residency applications are accepted on a rolling basis and artists and makers of all kinds are invited to apply.

The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant program is intended to provide interim financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs are the result of an unforeseen, catastrophic incident, and who lack the resources to meet that situation. Each grant is given as one-time assistance for a specific emergency, examples of which are fire, flood, or emergency medical need.

La Porte Peinte is an international arts centre located in Noyers sur Serein, a medieval village in Burgundy that is celebrated as one of the 100 most beautiful villages in France. Based in a rambling medieval half-timbered building that leans out over the village square like something from a fairy tale, La Porte Peinte offers artists, makers, musicians and writers in residence the opportunity to engage in creative exploration and exchange in an unusually inspiring and supportive environment.

We welcome artists, performers, writers, musicians, filmmakers, photographers, and creative thinkers. Collaborative groups and partnerships are welcome to apply. While most residencies are artist-funded, we also offer a limited number of fully and partially funded residencies. We offer occasional themed and partnership residencies, and we are delighted to offer family residencies during specific periods. (Unless specified as a family residency, usually it is preferable for a resident not to be accompanied by a non-working companion, but we will consider such requests. If an artist wishes to bring a child but not as part of a family residency, we would endeavour to arrange for full-time child-care, for which there would be a supplementary fee.)

In addition to our core self-directed residency programme, we offer individually tailored mentored residencies for artists, writers and creators of any age.

Each year we aim to offer several fully funded and partially residencies to individuals who would otherwise not be able to participate. La Porte Peinte USA, as a non-profit branch of the larger LPP project, aims to widen the field of opportunity to increase diversity, with a focus on individuals or groups who might otherwise lack access to such resources, e.g., artists affected by war, natural disasters, economic hardship or any form of discrimination. LPP USA aims to actively seek out such artists wherever in the world they may be, and to extend support to them through residencies, masterclasses, collaborations, or exhibitions. Areas of specific focus include film, photographic and written reportage that promotes global awareness and understanding; applied art that brings traditional techniques together with contemporary concerns, materials and methods; sustainable design; creative work by women; emerging artists of all ages; and African, Haitian, and Latin American practitioners, among others.

Founded in 2019 in Oravisalo, Rääkkylä, Hakoniemi residence is a peaceful and inspiring working environment, located and inspired by the beautiful lake-side nature of Northern Saimaa archipelago. Hakoniemi offers place for sustainable work plans of different kinds, and an interest to the natural environment. The residence is suitable for artists, musicians, writers, artisans, designers, researchers and architects among others.

The Pre-Columbian Ceramics Instructional Residency acknowledges the rich history of ceramics in Mexico by incorporating the knowledge of local building techniques, materials, and styles. The program comprises hands-on instruction with diverse clay bodies from the region of Cusco. Instruction is focused on learning and experimentation with traditional techniques including burnishing, clay slips, pressing techniques, and traditional carvings. This residency is a comprehensive program to learn about the pre-Hispanic ceramic traditions of Peru, focusing with a material experimentation, and including resources for a better understanding of the history and cultural context of ceramics in the region. In Cusco, instruction is in Spanish, though resident artists need not speak Spanish in order to successfully complete the course.

The F Project welcomes artists from all over the world to stay in the picturesque and historical south west corner of Victoria, Australia. We live and work on the traditional lands of the Peek Whurrong people of the Gunditjmara and Maar nations.
The F Project Residency Program provides a space for artists to further their art practice in a stimulating, comfortable, creative and supportive environment. We offer residencies of 2 weeks or more at our centrally located residence. This opportunity is open to individuals as well as teams, and we encourage cooperatives to apply – it’s an ideal place for a group residency!

The Japan Foundation, New York office (JFNY) accepts applications from non-profit organizations for projects that take place within the 37 states east of the Rocky Mountains, plus Washington D.C., listed below for the JFNY Grant for Arts & Culture on a rolling basis throughout the year. This grant aims to support projects that will further understanding of Japanese arts and culture. Successful projects are granted up to $5,000. This grant also supports online projects related to Arts & Cultural Exchange that incorporate issues pertaining to the COVID-19 global pandemic such as virtual exhibitions, virtual performances, film streaming, online conference as well as webinar. Priority will be given to those projects that have secured additional funding from sources other than the Japan Foundation, as well as projects that take place in areas where access to Japanese cultural events are relatively limited.

The dual artistic mentoring program run by Tlaxcala 3 + Lab Program, facilitates a partnership to develop critical skills and sensitive tools, where the concept of archive is presented as an opportunity to experiment and reflect on the role of memory in artistic creation.

This dual program aims to unravel the hidden layers of meaning, secrecy, and control often found within institutions, discourses, and social and spatial practices addressed in the conventional notion of archive.

Hierarchies and contradictions presented in texts and discourses, which, through simulation and the modern concept of reality, allow us to question concepts such as authenticity and truth in an era of simultaneous images, signs, multiple temporalities, and spaces. The cost of the residency is $25,000 MXN or 1,700 USD.
Studio Facilities are provided in collaboration with peer self-run art spaces in the city. This is a modality that encourage engagement with the wide and diverse art communities in Mexico City.

Max’s Emergency Relief & Resource Fund is a one-time grant of between $500 and $1000 to assist self-employed artists who have a steady work history, but who are experiencing a temporary financial set back. MKCP assistance is designed to resolve this short term crisis, whatever it may be, and the applicant will again gain employment in the near future. Individuals seeking assistance must be residents of New York State. Exceptions are made in some cases if applicant was affiliated with Max’s Kansas City. Applicants whose arrears are so serious that assistance will not allow them relief from their difficulties are not eligible for assistance. Please be specific as to what bill the grant is needed for. Grants of financial assistance do not go to the applicant. Payment goes directly to creditor/third party. Please note, although MKCP Emergency Grant does cover medical bills, it does not cover psychotherapy costs unless the psychotherapist is an MD. MKCP only covers housing, medical and legal aid. THE POP CULTURE COLLABORATIVE’S VISION AND PURPOSE
Throughout America’s history, the most transformative cultural shifts—from slavery abolition to Reconstruction, “I Have A Dream” to “Yes We Can,” #BlackLivesMatter, the DREAM-ers, and Love Is Love—have been achieved by movements and leaders who have awakened people’s deep yearning to belong in a pluralist America. In each case, the tug-of-war between belonging and exclusion sparked a portal moment—a cracking open of the public imagination about what this nation is capable of becoming.

We believe our nation is on the precipice of another historic breakthrough: a once-in-a-generation opportunity for the American people to decisively choose to move in the direction of pluralism and justice. How will we respond to this call for transformation? Will we submit to authoritarian narratives that entice us to retreat back into the systems of exclusion and violence that stain our past, or will we step boldly through the portal and onto the path towards our pluralist future?

Americans have the opportunity to ask: What society do we yearn to create and who can we empower to lead the way? If, as civil rights scholar Vincent Harding once said, America is “a country that has yet to be born,” the pop culture for social change field can help prepare and guide millions of people through this process of becoming something new by clearing away the detritus of our nation’s past, replacing fetid, crumbling ideas and norms with ones rooted in justice, care, and connection.

Together, artists, organizers, strategists, and researchers can create the stories that help the American public understand and interpret the choices we face through the lens of our shared commitment to becoming a pluralist nation.

Over the long-term, the Collaborative is working to support the growth of a pop culture for social change field capable of building the yearning in most Americans (more than 150 million people) to actively co-create a just and pluralist society in which everyone is perceived to belong, inherently, and is treated as such. The Pop Culture Collaborative defines a pluralist society as a culture in which the majority of people in a community and nation are engaged in the hard and delicate work of belonging together in a just and equitable society.

GRANT ELIGIBILITY
Individuals/organizations with fiscal sponsorships as well as nonprofits and for-profits in the United States are eligible for Pop Culture Collaborative grants.

To be considered, proposals must engage, affect, center, and/or support at least one or all of our multi-community focus areas: people of color, immigrants, refugees, Indigenous peoples, and/or Muslims, particularly those who are women, queer, transgender, and/or disabled. Initiatives with an intersectional and intentional focus on gender justice, LGBTQIA rights, disability, democratic fairness, pluralist values, and economic justice are highly prioritized. The Collaborative seeks grantee partners working at the intersection of pop culture and social change who:

Are artists, activists, organizations, strategists, researchers, and/or others who identify culture change as a clear outcome of their work and pop culture strategies as a critical aspect of their culture change efforts.
The Pop Culture Collaborative provides grants to artists and organizations or companies that support artist cohorts, from various disciplines, locations, and industries to bring their artistic vision to mass audiences, while also contributing to field-wide efforts to build public yearning for a pluralist America.

We seek to create a large, networked community of artists who believe that their creative work and leadership have the power to inspire millions of Americans to actively co-create a pluralist society.

Areas of interest include:

Supporting artists and cultural organizations to conceptualize, develop, and produce creative works that can help build public yearning for pluralist culture in America.
Supporting artists to gather for shared learning, networking, community-knitting, and power-building, especially spaces that bring artists into direct and meaningful connection with frontline activists and culture change strategists.
Helping artists and organizations develop the methodology, networks, infrastructure, pipelines, and leadership skills needed to redistribute access and power in their respective industries to historically excluded communities.

The Pop Culture Collaborative accepts proposals by invitation only. However, we have created a simple process for potential grantees to self-evaluate whether they are a match with the Collaborative’s goals and guidelines, and if so, to submit an idea for our consideration. It is important to note that an idea submission is not a proposal. The Collaborative will respond only to idea submissions that the staff team has reviewed and deem a potential match.
