Dorland Mountain Arts Residency is a beautiful retreat where artists can create in a secluded and protected natural setting. Dorland is located near Temecula Valley Wine Country, about 100 miles south of Los Angeles and sixty miles north of San Diego. The Residency Program provides a secluded working retreat for national and international visual artists, writers, musicians and composers. Residency stays may be as short as one week or as long as two months, based on requests and availability. Individual cottages are complete with WiFi, window AC, good cell phone reception, kitchen, bathroom, workspace, and a covered porch with magnificent mountain, canyon and Temecula Valley views. One cottage includes a Steinway baby grand piano, and another has a Kimball baby grand.

Remagine Art Prize is an environmental art prize dedicated to bringing awareness of environmental challenges such as waste and consumption. Held in partnership with the Hornsby Art Society since 2009, Remagine Art Prize is delivered and sponsored by Hornsby Shire Council. This year’s theme ‘RE:THINK TO RE:PURPOSE’ refers to the decisions we make each day about how much waste is created, and how materials can be reused to help save precious natural resources. The extraction of raw materials, production, transport, and consumption directly affects the environment, including native wildlife, aquatic species, and birdlife. Artists are asked to submit works that relate to this year’s theme. This non-acquisitive prize is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over, with total prizemoney of $11,000.

Indiana University Kokomo invites you to participate in their 2023-2025 juried, on-loan, outdoor sculpture exhibit on the Kokomo, Indiana campus. Selected artists must be willing to enter into an Art Loan Agreement with IU Kokomo and will be awarded an honorarium of $2000 per piece. IU Kokomo is a regional campus of Indiana University with a vibrant arts program and extensive art collection. They have installed sculpture pads on our beautiful Kokomo campus to display public sculptures on a rotating basis. The third installment of this exhibit will be from July 2025 through July 2027.

2025 marks the first year the exhibition will be hosted by the Oklahoma State University Museum of Art. The Cimarron National Works on Paper is a testament to the history of printmaking at OSU, their current educational initiatives, the diverse holdings of works on paper in the OSU Museum of Art’s collection, and an expression of OSU's enduring commitment to works on paper and contemporary practice. $2,000 will be available for purchase awards. Purchased work will be added to Oklahoma State University Museum of Art permanent collection. Awards will be selected by the juror. Oklahoma State University Museum of Art will pay up to $150 of return shipping costs, the balance will be the responsibility of the artist.

The St. Tammany Art Association (STAA) announces a call for entries to its 55th Annual National Juried Artists Exhibition: The Summer Show. One of the most diverse exhibitions of contemporary art in the Southeast, the juried competition of invites contemporary artists, ages 18 and up, from across the United States to submit to this year’s open call for submissions.

They seek works from mid-career artists who challenge and reimagine Western narratives through a range of media, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, textile, and mixed media. This exhibition aims to disrupt the hyper-masculine, colonialist tropes embedded in the myth of the West by inviting softer, more expansive visions of the frontier — speculative, queer, diasporic, and ecologically attuned.

Art on the Avenue (AOA) is Manitou Springs’ public art program, administered by Creative Alliance Manitou Springs (CRANE). Be-Part and rhizome_ are offering a residency spot this summer for artists who want to focus on developing interdisciplinary work from 1 July until 14 September 2025. The residency will be hosted in the exhibition space of rhizome_, located in Kortrijk's station district. This unique workspace offers a direct connection to both the surrounding environment and the city. The studio is seen as a space for encounters, dialogue, and exchange. The human body is a popular subject for many reasons, the most obvious being that it is everyone. Throughout history (and prehistory) the representation of the human form has been charged with tremendous energy. Whether it be a religious edict that one should not depict the human form—a taboo, or the glorious opposite—a revelation of mastery over form in the crafting of sensuous and life-like physical human beauty, the art of the body has moved humans through time. Through all the permutations art has experienced across history, work of the body persists. The human nude is used to master skill, understand one self, and push social and psychological buttons for the sake of expression.

Calling all artists to exhibit western fine art: the western art theme can be western landscape, wildlife, and people as in cowboys, Native Americans, Mexican heritage, and their artifacts. Media includes: paintings, mixed media, dry media (pastel, graphite, colored pencil, scratchboard, drawings), and 3-Dimensional art (sculpture, pottery, fine western craft). The Greeley Stampede is a 2-week celebration featuring world-renowned rodeos, concerts, parades, carnival, western art, vendors and attracts over 250,000 visitors from around the world. The art show has sold over $1,000,000 of art and raised funds for scholarships and future emerging artists.

Exterior, public-facing site near a busy intersection. The goal of this mural project is to improve a retaining wall at the southwest corner of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Swope Parkway. This is the former location of Neighborhoods and Housing Department offices.

The retaining wall measures approximately 20’ high x 130’ wide. The city will prep and prime the wall to receive a mural. 2-5 semifinalist artists will be asked to advance to the RFP phase and propose designs. Semifinalists will be paid a design proposal stipend of $1,000.

The Yéigo Action Grant provides support for the growing landscape of Native artists and culture bearers who need financial assistance with a professional development opportunity or towards a hardship that is hindering their creative practice. This program offers grants between $100 and $5,000 for individual Native artists and culture bearers. First Peoples Fund (FPF) finds it essential to support artists in their times of need, especially when their work is impacted by sudden hardship. This grant’s name incorporates the Diné word yéigo, often used as a phrase of encouragement that can mean “keep going” or “don’t give up.”

The five-week hybrid residency will engage 12 visual artists whose artistic practice includes land-based themes, environmental sustainability, Indigenous narratives of the land, and/or use of natural materials. Artists can apply with a personal project to explore, experiment and research, or complete their final project work. The online portion equips artists to arrive on campus ready to create in a supportive environment with access to a studio and Visual Arts facilities. The residency features workshops, on-the-land engagement, faculty guidance, knowledge exchange centered on integrating Indigenous ways of knowing into the artistic process and the opportunity to showcase works at Open Studios.

They offer a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment for creatives to come and spend time in their Cortijo in the Andalucían mountains. They provide a large, light, communal studio, a ceramics workshops and woodworking and metalworking tools. Each of the 5 bedrooms, spread across 3 floors, also have their own dedicated workspace. The Cortijo is set within 2 acres of land, which residents are also free to roam; they are sure you will find much tranquility and inspiration here, providing you with all that you need for a new body of work, research project or indeed, make new friends and develop your international network.

The Southern Arts Recovery Fund provides financial support to artists residing in the FEMA disaster areas of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia; impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Artists working in craft/traditional arts, design, literary, media/film, performing, visual, and interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary arts may apply for a grant to replace supplies and equipment lost due to the hurricanes. This opportunity is open to professional artists 18 years or older whose artistic practice generates any portion of their income. This recovery grant is for individual artists only.

The historic Providence Art Club invites artists from throughout the United States to apply for its popular National Open Juried Exhibition. Open to works in all media, this show will be juried by Dr. Jane Dini, Curator of Exhibitions at the Norman Rockwell Museum. $6,000 in prizes will be awarded. Entries are due by May 8.

ALA Art Prize was started in 2021 with the aim of supporting, enhancing, and promoting contemporary artists. Through a free open call, artists are invited to create an original site-specific project for ALA’s premises, a not-white cube which will get them to interact with the work environment and its community, thus establishing a space for discussion between art, business and contemporary creativity. The awarded artwork will become part of the permanent art collection housed in the headquarters of the Company, within the Teatro Mediterraneo of Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples.

LGBTIQA+ artists and curators are invited to apply for a solo or group exhibition at the Eltham Library Community Gallery. The selected exhibition will be put forward for Midsumma Festival, Australia’s premier queer arts and cultural festival, bringing together a diverse mix of LGBTIQA+ artists, performers, communities and audiences. The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts invites Pennsylvania artists to apply to its Images 2025 Juried Gallery Exhibition, which will be on display in the Schlow Centre Region Library throughout the month of July 2025. $1,800 in prize money will be awarded by juror Richard Rinehart at an Awards Reception on July 10 during the 5-day Arts Festival. Since 1993, Fundación Botín has awarded Art Grants each year, aimed at artists of any nationality. At Studio Luce, they give artists and writers the freedom to manage their own schedules, trusting them to use their time as they see fit. They believe artists know how they work best, and their role is to support that. This is a very hands-off residency where you, as the creative, determine how best to use your time. ​They don’t require a finished piece at the end of your stay, understanding that this residency is a small part of your process. Deadlines can stifle creativity, but they’re always there for check-ins and conversations, offering insights into El Paredón and Guatemala. ​While the work is up to you, they encourage collaboration and meals with fellow artists and interaction with the local community.

The Waverley Art Prize has been running since 1986 as a painting and drawing prize. This year the Waverley Art Prize is returning to the Bondi Pavilion Gallery as Bondi’s staple event in the local and national art prize calendar. The Waverley Art Prize is aimed for early to mid-career artists. The Open Prize and Mayor’s Prize-winning works are acquired in the Waverley Council Collection. The funds raised through the art prize support Waverley Woollahra Art School and help them sustain their role as the longest running artist run initiative in Waverley. This year is the 39th anniversary of the Waverley Art Prize. The Waverley Art Prize 2025 is open to painting, drawing, print and mixed media.

The Public Art Program is interested in commissioning an artist or artist team to create a site-specific, large scale permanent sculpture or series of sculptures at Big Bull Creek Park, 20425 Sunflower Road, Edgerton, KS 66021. With Kansas City being one of the hosts of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this installation presents a unique opportunity to reach a broader international audience. The installation of this permanent art is scheduled for May 2026 with World Cup games and special events occurring across the Kansas City region in June/July 2026. Applications are due 5/11/2025.

The national acquisitive Sunshine Coast National Art Prize is a dynamic visual arts award reflecting outstanding contemporary 2D and new media arts practice in Australia. Since 2006, the exhibition presents the remarkable finalist works by artists from across the country. The artwork awarded with the Major Prize will be acquired into the Sunshine Coast Art Collection. A People’s Choice prize is also decided by way of public vote by exhibition visitors. The Sunshine Coast National Art Prize 2025 is proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council, Argon Law Sunshine Coast, De Deyne Family, Caloundra Chamber of Commerce, Montville Country Cabins, Coastline BMW and International Art Services.

For Eye to Eye 2025, they are seeking installation proposals with a strong artistic voice and feasible timeline which invite collaboration from other artists. Submitted art samples will primarily be used to give a sense of an artist’s creative voice and ability to follow through on artistic projects.

They will assign teams of 3-4 artists to work together to fabricate the installation. Each team will include at least one artist represented by Fresh Eye Arts, a progressive art studio supporting artists with disabilities.

King's Lynn is looking for experienced artist/s, creative practitioner or an arts organization with experience of community engagement or socially engaged practice to develop and deliver a series of art works in partnership with communities in King’s Lynn which will feature as part of the towns HANSA20 celebrations. The works will be projected on to three historic buildings in central King’s Lynn using the existing infrastructure of BrightSign Media Players along with the option to use two mobile projectors on different sites/locations. The technology will allow for projection of static images, slide shows, animation, film or potentially interactive works using gaming technologies but not sound.

The Cass Art Prize 2025, presented by The Cass Group, aims to champion contemporary art from across the UK and the Republic of Ireland with a £10,000 cash prize and a free stand at The Other Art Fair in spring 2026 to the overall winner of the competition. Josephine Sculpture Park (JSP) is pleased to announce a call for proposals for our Artist-in-Residence program for 2025-2026. The Narva Art Residency (NART), in collaboration with the Narva municipality’s department of architecture and urban planning (ALPA), is launching its second open call for a large-scale public art installation or sculpture. Sculpture Missoula announces a call for five sculptures for the inaugural opening of a sculpture garden in Missoula’s most beloved and picturesque park. A subset of Telluride Arts’ Artist Grants [TAAGs] program, Flash Grants operate on a quarterly basis, awarding five $250 grants per cycle. These grants are designed and awarded for artistic endeavours that are smaller in scale, provide clear community benefit and require limited monetary support towards project initiation, sustainment or completion. As with all TAAGs, community benefit is at the heart of the program and must be clearly outlined in the application.

FEED Media Art Center, in partnership with Erie Art Company, invites digital artists from around the globe to participate in OPEN FEED 2025, an exhibition and residency program exploring the vast landscape of digital art. Artists are invited to expand their practice in large-scale dedicated studio and exhibition spaces located in a historic 200-year-old building, and explore new skills and techniques with access to FEED’s one-of -a-kind collection of digital and analogue tools and technologies.

Biennial OPEN exhibition at Quay Arts on the Isle of Wight. Quay Arts invites established and emerging artists across the UK (18+) to submit work exploring the theme SOFT for an OPEN group exhibition. They welcome submissions from all art forms, including multi-disciplinary and digital artists, and other innovative approaches considering the theme. Applicants must be aged 18 or over at the time of applying, based in the UK, and be the creators of the work(s) submitted, or an authorised representative (such as a gallery) of the creator of the work(s).

The Buffalo Bills Public Art Program seeks to commission a professional visual artist, or artist team, to create site-specific wall-based Mural artwork(s) to be placed in (new) Highmark Stadium. This artwork will be thematic, public-facing, and part of the permanent collection at the Stadium.

The position of Artist in Residence is available as a one-year assignment for a working artist in any medium. The successful applicant will have access to studio space and use of the facilities within the Art Department. The post holder is expected to contribute to curriculum and co-curricular Art, as well as the community work that takes place within their purpose-built gallery. The Artist will be engaged on a self-employed basis for an average of 3 days per week. However, the position is flexible and may evolve through the course of the residency.

David Roche Gallery is excited to announce the inaugural Best in Show 2025: Australian Photographic Dog Prize. Established as a biannual prize to celebrate Australian dogs and pay homage to the legacy of their founder, David Roche AM (1930-2013). From David’s famous Fermoy Kennels in North Adelaide his dogs won awards nationally and internationally from the 1950s to the early 2010s. Particularly known for his Afghan Hounds and Kerry Blue Terriers, David holds the record for having won more Best in Shows at Royal Shows than any other Australian. Best in Show 2025: Australian Photographic Dog Prize is open to amateur and professional photographers with a first prize of $5000. The Young photographer category offers a first prize of $500 and the People’s Choice Award $500.

Presenting Art Collide’s "Open Theme”, Summer 2025, international competition and online exhibition. Sanchez Art Center (SAC) invites California artists (18+) to submit an entry to participate in the 50|50 Show. Pensychnant Conservation Centre and Nature Reserve conserves and celebrates nature within the cultural landscape – past, present and future. 150 acres of outstanding natural beauty at the top of Sychnant Pass, above Conwy, North Wales is managed as a nature reserve for the benefit of its wildlife and for the peaceful appreciation of nature. Tulsa Artist Fellowship is a place-based, durational award that aims to support visionary arts practitioners. Realizing George Kaiser Family Foundation’s vision grounded in social change, Tulsa Artist Fellowship is committed to fostering an environment where a visionary community of artists and arts workers have the opportunity to thrive. Nested in the heart of a dynamic city, Tirana Art Residency – Vila 31 x Art Explora aims to support contemporary creation in all its forms, within a transdisciplinary and transgenerational perspective. Opened in January 2025, Vila 31 x Art Explora runs a dynamic cultural programme in collaboration with local stakeholders, institutions, schools, and associations, including exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, discussions, and festivals open to all. The Painting Center is seeking submissions for the juried group exhibition Turned and Turning Still curated by Kellie Lehr, Jamie Powell and Lisa Petker Mintz. The exhibition will be on view from June 24 - July 19, 2025, and will be featured on Artsy. Turned and Turning Still invites work that honors transformation and material experimentation, exploring the act of becoming, where materials, techniques, and subjects are always in motion and always turning still. All visual art styles and mediums will be considered for this exhibition. The deadline to apply is May 30, 2025.

To be held online and in Skaftafell National Park throughout the summer of 2025, it responds to the UN's International Year of Glaciers' Preservation by inviting creatives and scientists to show case work that reflects on the past, present, and future of these landscapes.

Currently seeking 2025 Visiting Artists! Sloss Furnaces Foundation hosts three, 8-week Visiting Artists throughout the year, typically in the Summer (June-Aug) and Fall (Sept-Nov). This program is designed for artists interested in developing their studio practice and honing technical skills. Visiting Artists will be provided with a furnished apartment near Sloss Furnaces, casting materials, and 24-hour studio access in Sloss' historic casting shed. Visiting Artists are expected to have a final exhibition at The 600 at the conclusion of their residency. The majority of the work is to be displayed for up to a year, with the option to sell throughout the exhibition. East Quay is pleased to offer a 6-week residency to a South West based artist in their sought-after Studio 10 Project Space. They are accepting applications from artists working in all mediums.‍ Studio 10 Project Space helps them build connections with the local community through introducing their audiences to new mediums, artworks, and wider contemporary practice. The 8th Annual PROUD+ Exhibition will be held July 3 - August 2, 2025, during San Diego Pride Month, showcasing the work of LGBTQ+ artists from across the country. Produced by The Studio Door, this national exhibition celebrates the unique perspectives and voices of the LGBTQ+ community through contemporary art. For nearly a decade, PROUD+ has provided a vital platform for LGBTQ+ artists to express their creativity, identity, and lived experiences. From bold declarations of self to quiet explorations of inner worlds, this exhibition seeks to highlight the richness and diversity of LGBTQ+ life and culture. Artists are invited to submit works that reflect their own interpretations of pride, resilience, and community.

DVAA is now accepting applications for our 2025 Fellowship program. Inspired by the vision of DVAA’s founders to provide a creative refuge for marginalized artists, the DVAA Fellowship Program was created in 2018 to better serve the DVAA Membership and the arts communities of Philadelphia. They annually support underserved artists with innovative ideas through four distinct Fellowship tracks. The launch of The Doorkeeper, a new art zine dedicated to exploring the intersection of art, philosophy, and poetry, has been announced. Submissions are currently open to artists, writers, philosophers, and poets for upcoming issues, inviting creatives to participate in this exciting journey.

The zine welcomes submissions that creatively engage with these themes through visual art, essays, and poetry. Whether emerging or established, all creatives are encouraged to share their unique perspectives.

Building on the legacy of previous iterations, Jaipur Art Week Edition 5.0 launches an Open Call, inviting artists and creatives to share innovative proposals for new work that will encourage meaningful and open dialogue and collaboration. Selected artists will be given the opportunity to showcase their work in a group exhibition or as solo interventions across partner venues throughout Jaipur. The applicant's proposal can respond to one of the venues listed on the site, otherwise their team will support the artist through the curatorial process to find the right fit for their work.

Miniature art is fine art on a small scale, with minute attention to detail, which can be enlarged or withstand close inspection without revealing faults. Non-representational work such as abstracts may meet the spirit of a miniature if all other factors in the definition of a miniature are met. 3D art is welcome. Digital art and photography is not accepted for this show.

In this grant program, the Jonathan and Barbara Silver Foundation’s goal is to encourage and support sculptors as well as writers on sculpture, both emerging and established.

The JBSF offers one $20,000 grant per year.

The JBSF grant program operates on a 2-year cycle with alternating grants that support writing in even years and sculpture in odd years. Applications are now open for the sculpture grant. The next writing grant application will be available in 2026.

Funds will go toward creating a work or a body of work that is essential to the artist’s development and a contribution to sculpture as a field.

The sculpture grant is specifically for an artist who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to sculpture that includes an informed and imaginative engagement with its materials, histories, and situation.

The writing grant is specifically for a writer who generates fresh writing and thinking on the history, aesthetics, purposes, imagination or situation of sculpture.

The grant recipient is expected to complete the project within one year of receiving the award.

The 15th Annual PleinAir Salon is an online art competition with 11 monthly cycles, and is open to a variety of mediums and styles. It’s not just for plein air painters! They invite a variety of top master artists, museum directors and gallery owners to judge each month. All monthly winners are automatically included in the Annual Competition where the Grand Prize winner receives $15,000 and has their painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine, the #1 representational art magazine at Barnes & Noble.

In addition to over $50,000 in ALL Cash Prizes, winners receive exposure and recognition through our various magazines, websites, newsletters and social media platforms.

This exhibition seeks to merge Afrocentrism—a worldview that recenters people of African descent in historical, cultural, and artistic narratives—with eclecticism, an approach that embraces diverse influences, styles, and mediums. Inspired by Molefi Asante’s philosophy of reclaiming African diasporic identity, this exhibition creates a space for BIPOC artists to explore, celebrate, and challenge perceptions of Blackness across time, space, and artistic expression. Artists working in all mediums are invited to submit works that reflect the depth and multiplicity of Black diasporic identities—seen and unseen, shared and personal, historical and futuristic. This exhibition encourages a dialogue on how Blackness is experienced, imagined, and expressed across different cultural landscapes.

The Olympic Heritage | Artists in Residence programme provides artists with a unique experience and unparalleled access to museum collections, mentorship, expert support and resources to create innovative, boundary-pushing digital art inspired by Olympic history.
Two artists will be selected by an esteemed and prestigious international jury for a two-month residency. The resulting artworks and artists’ digital diaries (films) will be selected and accessioned into the permanent collections of QOSM (Doha residency) and the Olympic Museum (Swiss residency), as part of a growing body of Olympic art in each institution.
Their international jury will assess artists' proposals based on their creativity, technical skill, and the strength of their ideas to redefine sports culture through digital innovation.
