Tools for Radical Cooperation is a new collaborative publication that will feature the work of contributing artists, designers, writers, philosophers, and dreamers on different tools and modalities to overcome social division. 20/20 Photo Festival announces an international call for entries for its upcoming group exhibition, Transforming Landscapes. Photographers working in analog processes are invited to submit work aligned with the theme for presentation in September 2026 at Cherry Street Pier, as part of the annual 20/20 Photo Festival.

Juried by Philadelphia-based photographer Andrew Piccone, the exhibition encourages artists to reflect on the evolution of the American landscape over the past 250 years. The Chiaro Award is a fully sponsored artist residency and $15,000 prize for two mid-career painters residing in the United States. The Chiaro Award residency includes a private studio, and inclusion in a dynamic network of Headlands’ creative practitioners and thinkers.

Applications are now open for Arts & Education at the Hoyt’s Annual Call for Artists. The established regional arts center and museum is seeking solo and group proposals to fill out openings in the 2026-28 schedules.

Solo,duo,collectives and curatorial proposals are welcome. Due to the historic nature of the facilities, installations are discouraged. Artists living in the Mid-Atlantic Region, defined as PA, OH, NY, NJ, MD, VA, W.VA and Washington DC, will be given preference.

THRIVE Grants aim to further support artists’ innovation throughout Oklahoma with project grants of up to $10,000 for artist-led initiatives. Artspace111 announces its annual juried art competition for contemporary 2D and 3D works. Artists must be 18 years and older and residing in Texas. Over $20,000 will be awarded to artists in the exhibition, with the $10,000 First Place Edmund Craig Memorial Award including the opportunity to exhibit at Artspace111 in a separate solo or group exhibition in 2027. The Henry Moore Institute, a world-recognized center for the study of sculpture, offers grants to enable artists and researchers to develop their work. Fellowships allow researchers to spend a month using institute facilities in Leeds and include accommodation, travel and subsistence expenses. The grants support growth and development of sculpture across historical, modern and contemporary registers. Available to sculpture historians, academics and conservators who are researching and publishing on sculpture conservation, production, history and/or interpretation, to support research costs, travel, photography and archival access. They cannot accept applications which are to inform or develop an artist’s own work, and/or professional practice.

ARCUS Research Winter is a six-week residency and self-funded program that offers an uninterrupted time and contemplative environment for creative experimentation, in-depth fieldwork, and research for practitioners and professionals in art and other cultural fields, including artists, curators, researchers, university educators, or writers. The Judy Wheeler Commission is a ten‑year site‑specific commissioning program established in memory of Judy Wheeler and generously supported by the Simpson Family. The 2026 ACE x firstdraft Short-term Residency offers one South Australian artist the opportunity to develop and present a solo exhibition at firstdraft, Sydney. The artist will receive a 3-month studio residency at ACE with 24/7 access to the studios above the ACE gallery, sharing a creative, collaborative environment with the ACE Studio Program artists. This residency is supported by an artist fee, materials budget and travel bursary, with the focus on a specific project in preparation for the artist’s interstate exhibition. The 50th annual meeting of the American Historical Print Collectors Society will take place in New Bedford, Massachusetts from June 9th through June 11th, 2026. The program will include a day trip to Nantucket Island and an optional session on June 8th at the Heritage Museum in Sandwich, where the AHPCS held its first annual meeting in 1975.

The Delaplaine seeks proposals for solo and group exhibitions on an ongoing basis. Exhibitions are showcased in five galleries on two floors and openings are held on most first Saturdays. Proposals for large group, small group, and solo shows are reviewed by an exhibition selection panel and are scheduled up to two years in advance.

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside offers an Artist-in-Residence (AIR) position in Printmaking for the 2026/2027 Academic year (Sep 2, 2026 – May 13, 2027). Residency includes campus housing for non-local applicants, full access to the academic/professional printmaking studio in UWP’s Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for the Arts and Humanities, and a $3000 per semester stipend ($6000 for the entire academic year.) The Australian Photographic Society’s Mullins Conceptual Photography Prize is a national $30,000 acquisitive prize that seeks to find Australia’s best conceptual photographic works. Finalists of the prize are exhibited annually at Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre with the prize-winning work joining the Muswellbrook Shire Art Collection, and a collection of contemporary photographic works acquired through the Muswellbrook Photographic Award (1987 – 2014). Since 2011, the Monira Foundation (formerly Mana Residencies) has awarded artists rent-free, non-living studio space for 12 months. Started by Karline Moeller and Ysabel Pinyol Blasi, this residency is a gift of time, space, and community. Their mission is to provide a stimulating, rigorous, and contemplative environment where talented and committed artists benefit from a large studio workspace and the support of a vital creative surrounding community. Studio space is still critical to the practices of the overwhelming majority of artists, but remains at a premium, especially in the New Jersey and New York tri-state area; a residency at Monira facilitates continued production and helps strengthen professional and intellectual bonds among diverse individuals.

IN NATURE is a juried international open call for work that engages with the natural world—its rhythms, forces, and quiet transformations. Hennepin County Library is contracting with Forecast Public Art to facilitate the curation and commissioning process for three permanent artworks at the Westonka Library, located at 2079 Commerce Boulevard, Mound , MN 55364. The Westonka Library serves as a vital community hub in the city of Mound, located along a scenic setting on a wooded site near the western edge of Lake Minnetonka.

The William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize stands as Australia's most prestigious photography competition, celebrating excellence in contemporary photographic practice.

The annual prize invites Australian artists to submit still photo-based media including analogue and digital photography created within the past year.

The competition accepts all film-based and digital work from amateurs and professionals with no thematic restrictions.
Selected works are acquired into the Museum of Australian Photography's nationally significant collection. The prize features multiple award categories including the main award, honourable mentions, a commissioning award, and public choice recognition.

Residents will be paired and asked to cook for shared dinners three times over the course of their residency, Monday-Friday. The Penland Resident Artist Program is designed for professional craft artists who are at a pivotal moment in their creative practice or career—the residency is an opportunity for them to pursue objectives that will have a lasting effect on their work and their lives. Set in the Santitham neighborhood, the program focuses on traditional lithography and printmaking, providing artists 35 hours per week alongside Master Printer Tim Pauszek, MFA. Whether learning the medium for the first time or producing a professional collector's edition, residents receive full technical support. The studio is equipped with lithography and etching presses and can produce stone and plate lithography, relief prints, drypoint etchings, and monotypes. Housing is included in a private studio apartment directly behind the print shop. An adjacent 85-square-meter exhibition space is available for resident-proposed events.

One of the first and most comprehensive arts in healthcare programs in the nation seeks submissions for solo and group art exhibits. The program integrates visual arts into healthcare environments to enhance healing spaces and provide cultural enrichment for patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Artlink is now accepting submissions for the juried exhibition Lucent: The Art of Light. This exhibition is open to light-focused works of all media and can be interpreted broadly—from work that depicts light, to work which emits light itself.

The Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) provides short-term relief to individual artists facing housing, healthcare, income, transportation, legal, or property loss emergencies that impact their wellbeing or ability to work. This program offers one-time awards of $500. In general, payments for emergency assistance are considered gifts and are not taxable income. Individuals must be currently active in a creative practice and live in Region 1: Minnesota counties of Kittson, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, or Roseau.

Small Works is a national juried show of artwork no more than 24” in its largest dimension (including frame). All media are eligible except jewelry, film/video. All entries are judged from digital files. One $30 nonrefundable fee entitles each artist to submit up to three entries. Purchase awards may be available for accepted work. Accepted artists may be selected for a solo show at Harper College. A color catalog will be published in conjunction with the exhibition.

FERRARA SHOWMAN GALLERY proudly hosts the 30th iteration of their annual call for artists: NO DEAD ARTISTS International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Art. The call is open through 15 JUNE 2026 and the exhibition participants are selected by an ever-changing group of three prestigious arts professionals. The exhibition is installed in the gallery 16 September and remains on view through 17 October, with an opening reception in conjunction with the Arts District New Orleans’ First Saturday Gallery Openings on 3 October 2026 from 5-8 pm.

The NO DEAD ARTISTS exhibition was founded by Jonathan Ferrara in 1995 to give a voice to emerging artists. The exhibition’s name is derived from the old adage that artists never achieve success until they are dead. NO DEAD ARTISTS turns that notion on its head and often gives emerging artists their first break in the art world. In the 90’s, the exhibition was open to New Orleans-based artists and subsequently grew to include artists of Louisiana, then becoming a national juried exhibition in 2010. In 2014, Matthew Weldon Showman opened the call internationally, expanding the opportunity to artists everywhere and producing an even more diverse and compelling survey of Contemporary Art.

Now in its monumental 30th iteration, the exhibition has been a springboard for numerous artists; leading to national press coverage, recognition, gallery representation, art fair exhibition, and acquisitions by museums and other prominent collections. Each year the gallery invites a panel of renowned arts professionals and collectors to select the newest creative talents from around the world AND as the GRAND PRIZE, one jury-winning artist is awarded a solo exhibition at FERRARA SHOWMAN GALLERY to take place the following year.

The purpose of the Annual Grant Program is to help fund meaningful creative projects and programs for Boise residents which supports the Department of Arts & History's (A&H) mission to cultivate a distinct sense of place which reflects Boise's rich past, diverse communities, and unique natural setting by creating opportunities that nurture and sustain Boise's creative economy. They envision the program helping to bring people together and build positive relationships that help create A City for Everyone.

For this next Fellowship cycle, they will support artists who are organizing their rural places for care, safety and solidarity. This includes, but is not limited to: artists who use creative processes to develop mutual aid networks, provide spaces for vulnerable communities to gather and connect, share stories to combat harmful narratives, and more. This year’s Fellowship will support six rural artists, creatives, and culture bearers with an unrestricted award of $15,000, one in-person retreat, $3,000 to support travel for Fellow Exchanges, and the opportunity to attend and present at Springboard’s Rural Futures Summit.

The Boise Airport’s Public Art Program is seeking artists and artist teams to submit qualifications for a glass mosaic design. Each selected artist will be awarded a $20,000 dollar contract to create original artwork to be fabricated and installed in the Boise Airport. The exact size of the fabricated work has not been determined. Up to ten (10) finalists may be selected and compensated $500 to submit concept proposals and interview with the selection panel. Up to two (2) artists or artist teams may be selected to implement their design concept. Each selected artist will design work for a different location; artists do not apply for specific locations and will be assigned a location by the project team.

The Walker Youngbird Foundation’s Emerging Native Arts Grant supports early-career Native artists in completing a proposed project that bridges tradition and innovation. Recipients receive $15,000 in funding, mentorship from their team and Advisory Council, and the opportunity to present their work through a curated showcase that build visibility and connect them with curators, collectors, and arts leaders.

The R & M McGivern Prize was established by the will of the late Muriel Evelyn McGivern, a local resident and artist of Maroondah, as a legacy of Muriel’s support of the arts in Maroondah. The Prize is awarded every three years by the Trustee for outstanding, original artwork in the medium of painting in oil and watercolour (including gouache). The R & M McGivern Prize is an acquisitive award and the winning artworks will become the property of the Maroondah City Council Art Collection. The Prize aims to promote artistic excellence in painting and build a high-quality collection for the Maroondah region.

The American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation (ABSF), also known as the Birkie, is seeking an experienced outdoor muralist/s for a mural at Mt. Telemark Village in Cable, WI. This call is for the creation of a site-specific mural that reflects themes of nature, community, cross country skiing, running, mountain biking, active lifestyles, and site history at Mt. Telemark over time. The ABSF is interested in either one artist/team to complete the total work, or up to three artists/teams to design the work in segments. This mural will enhance the area’s visual landscape, preserve the legacy of the property, engage and inspire the community.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces the 8th Annual “Primary Colors” Online Art Competition.

Both 2D & 3D artists (including photography & digital art), regardless of where they reside, are invited to apply to this competition by submitting their best representational or abstract art. The “Primary Colors” theme is one in which one of the primary colors (Red, Blue &/or Yellow) stands out as a primary artistic element in the artwork.

Any subject matter and any media are acceptable in this open theme competition, as long as the primary colors in the artwork are at least one or more of the three primary colors – Red, Blue &/or Yellow.

Woman Made Gallery (WMG) invites women and nonbinary artists to submit work for Feminism 250: Woman Made America. Anchored in America 250—the nationwide commemoration of the United States’ 250th anniversary—this exhibition reflects on the long arc of feminist history within a broader national moment of remembrance, reckoning, and re‑imagining. As one of the nation’s longest continually operating feminist art spaces, WMG enters this milestone with a history shaped by decades of cultural resistance, artist‑led advocacy, community care, and the ongoing fight to claim space for those long pushed to the margins.

The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit original lens-based works that explore the orientation of time. Open to all traditional and non-traditional photographic and light-based genre and media.

Their residencies programme supports professional development, cultural exchange, and artistic experimentation. They host up to twenty residencies each year, bringing artists from all over the world to London. All their residencies are self-led, non-prescriptive and process-based; they are about enabling artists to research and develop new work, engage with the city, and build their networks. They provide administrative, pastoral, and curatorial support throughout the residency, but they expect residents to be self-motivated, and to lead on the research and production of their own work, during their time with us.

The City of Winston-Salem’s Public Art Commission (PAC) is launching the CNI Resident Artist Project, a one-time artist residency funded through the Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI) Public Art Revitalization Program. The CNI Resident Artist will collaborate with the Public Art Commission to work with East Winston-Salem residents to develop an artistic project that is community focused. The selected artist will have an all-inclusive budget of $300,000 with an expected time commitment of 12 months that includes the initial immersion period, a proposal period, and then time to implement the artistic project. This project will start in September 2026 and must be completed by September 2027.

The Institute for Applied Creativity (IAC) at Texas A&M University proudly announces the call for submissions for Texas Inter-Media Experience (TIME) Fest! TIME Fest exists at the intersection of art, technology, and storytelling. It's mission is to showcase innovative film and media through screenings and live experiences, fostering community, experimentation, and bold creative risk-taking across Texas and beyond.

The ACS Studio Prize offers recent graduates £6,000 to contribute to the cost of securing an artist's studio in a UK city of their choice. Now in its tenth edition, the prize addresses economic challenges faced by artists starting their careers, particularly the difficulty of finding affordable studio space. Shortlisted finalists gain exposure through a group exhibition at Gurr Johns International in London. The 2026 jury includes art dealer Philip Mould OBE, artist David Dawson, National Gallery Director Sir Gabriele Finaldi, and ACS Chairman Viscountess Bridgeman CBE.

CALL FOR EXHIBITS – The Gifts of Art Program is seeking submissions for individual and group art exhibits for the September 2026 to August 2027 exhibition year. One of the first and most comprehensive arts in healthcare programs in the nation, Gifts of Art brings the world of art and music to Michigan Medicine at the University of Michigan. Their nine 2-D and 3-D galleries throughout the medical center are viewed by thousands of people each day and display over 30 exhibits per year. Their rotating gallery program is intended to support the healing process by calming nerves, lifting spirits, engaging minds and reducing the stress and anxiety often associated with healthcare settings.

The Emerging Artist Residency provides stipends, multiple resident gatherings, visiting artists & curators, and an open studio/public reading. This residency is aimed at visual and interdisciplinary artists in the Pacific Northwest who are towards beginning of their creative paths and can benefit from the time to focus and receive support from a community of peers and specialists in their fields.

PLAYA’s Art/Sci Awarded Residency brings together artists and scientists to immerse in their inquiry, practice and research, while fostering exchange of ideas across disciplines. All of PLAYA’s programs focus on expanding and deepening the field of art and science to empower the human motivation necessary for a healthy and whole future on this planet. They believe if human society is to maintain vibrancy of culture and biodiversity, it needs new ways of seeing the world.

The 16th Annual Salon Art Prize, formerly the PleinAir Salon, is an online art competition with 11 monthly cycles, and is open to a variety of mediums and styles. They invite a variety of top master artists, museum directors and gallery owners to judge each month. All monthly winners (242) are automatically included in the Annual Competition where the Grand Prize Winners each receive $15,000—one featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine and one on the cover of Fine Art Connoisseur.

In addition to over $65,000 in all cash prizes, winners receive exposure and recognition through their various magazines, websites, newsletters and social media platforms.

This call is for artist submissions to the Depot shop. We are looking for unique handcrafted items to carry.  You must submit online and with appropriate visuals.  Failure to do so means that your work will not be considered until the next submission window. 

Published deadlines MUST be met.  The shop committee must have time to jury. Please do not ask for the deadlines to be extended.  

When you are considering what to submit, think about them as units.   

For instance, for a pack of assorted note cards  - you might have four different images  in a set, but it would count as ONE item. 

If you are submitting handmade cards, show a sample of multiple ones - this would count as one item.  

If you are submitting a mug, it would be one unit but we might want to include several of the same item and it would count as ONE item.  

You may submit five different items for consideration.  They will be considered, but that does not guarantee acceptance of all five. Each submission will be curated, please do not bring items that were not curated in. 

Please make sure you read, understand, and agree to abide by the guidelines below. 

Applicants do not need to reside in Santa Clara County, as long as their work meaningfully engages or benefits residents of Santa Clara County. Artists must be at least 18 years old and working in the art form declared on the application. Applications are open and will be accepted until June 30th, 2026, 11:59pm Pacific Time. Winners are required to participate in the Awards Program to be held on Oct. 21st at the Hammer Theater in downtown San Jose.

The Academy Center of the Arts invites photographers from across the United States to submit work for the 2026 National Juried Photography Exhibition. Juried by photographer and filmmaker Kiera Hight, this national exhibition celebrates contemporary photography and showcases a diverse range of artistic perspectives from emerging and established artists. Open to U.S. residents ages 18 and older, the exhibition welcomes original photographs and photographically derived works completed after January 1, 2021. Selected works will be exhibited at the Academy Center of the Arts from September 4–25, 2026, providing artists with an opportunity to share their work with a wider audience and engage in a dynamic visual arts community.
