The CCA Hamaguchi Emerging Artist Residency at Kala award is part of the Hamaguchi series of awards for the advancement of printmaking at California College of the Arts in partnership with the Kala Art Institute. The award represents a rich collaboration between the two institutions that creates a special opportunity for a recent BFA Printmaking graduate to work and learn in the dynamic Kala facilities located in Berkeley with a community of artists from all over the world.

The Rochester Public Library seeks book artists and paper sculptors for the 15th annual international juried exhibition on display in the Anthony Mascioli Gallery at the historic Central Library in downtown Rochester, NY from October 5 - December 31, 2026. The exhibition has earned an international reputation among book artists since 2011. Summer residents receive 24-hour access to an adaptable, semi-private, 200–300 square foot studios in the historic Luther Barn. Accommodations include a private bedroom in a shared house, complete with common spaces, 1–2 full bathrooms, and a kitchen (artists participating in our Family Residency will receive a private house). Artists-in-residence also have access to their print shop and wood shop. Monthly programming includes open studios, group studio visits with their embedded critics, Ghost of a Dream, and one-on-one studio visits and artist talks with 2–3 creative professionals, their Director of Artistic Programming, and WP staff.

Fusion Art announces the Lines, Shapes & Objects 2026 Art Competition.

For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art and photography depicting lines, shapes & objects. The artwork for this competition can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction and all artists, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best representative and/or abstract work in any media.

Choice of a cash prize or complimentary one-year membership to Fusion Art's Members Gallery for Best in Show winners. Winners and finalists are provided with extensive worldwide publicity and promotion.

This call for submission is open to all artists 18 years of age or older living in the US. This is a juried exhibition for artists working in all styles of artwork, i.e. realism, expressionism, abstract 2D and 3D media, including sculpture. The Northwest Arts Center at Minot State University presents the 31st year of the INT'L All Media juried exhibition. Buckham Fine Arts Project presents a national juried exhibition celebrating three-dimensional vessel works. The exhibition welcomes both functional and non-functional vessels in a wide range of sizes and materials including wood, stone, clay, glass, metal, paper, and fiberglass. Artists may submit works that serve decorative purposes or exist purely for aesthetic appreciation. The Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026, marking a quarter-century of championing ambitious ideas on an intimate scale. Established in 2001 as Australia's first acquisitive award devoted to sculptures no larger than 80cm in any dimension, the Prize has grown into an internationally respected platform for creative brilliance. The organization invites artists to push the creative potential of limited scale, presenting an eclectic mix of works across a wide spectrum of materials and artistic approaches.

Photography 4 Humanity, in partnership with Fotografiska Museum, presents a global open call exploring the theme HOME. The initiative asks photographers to capture the meaning of home today - representing safety, belonging, identity, memory, or loss - in response to climate disruption, conflict, migration, and displacement. Selected photographs are exhibited at United Nations Headquarters in New York on Human Rights Day. Guest curated by documentary photographer James Nachtwey, the exhibition reaches diplomats, global leaders, and international visitors, bringing compelling visual stories to the heart of the international human rights conversation.

This exhibition explores the intersection of traditional Appalachian craft and contemporary artistic practices. The show showcases works that blend age-old techniques with modern materials and concepts through metals, glass, fibers, wood, printing, and ceramics. Artists connect to the region's cultural heritage while pushing boundaries of craftsmanship. Six category winners receive solo show and workshop opportunities in New Appalachia 2027.

Since its founding in 1981 and first residency period in 1983, Ucross has grown into a vital and relevant resource for artists of all backgrounds and disciplines, who come to Ucross from all over the United States and the world. The uninterrupted time and space they offer is increasingly rare, and the connections built within their community are of great importance to artists. They are honored that their artist residency program plays a dynamic, invaluable role in the creative life of the country. The open call for applications for Spring (February through early June) is open from May 1 to July 15.

Artist Grant awards an unrestricted $1200 USD grant to one visual artist three times each year. They showcase grantees on their website, social media, and marketing materials. They also feature selected applicants (with permission) on their social media to celebrate and promote artists. They hope this provides insight into the wide range of creative efforts they consider. Artists retain their copyrights.

Museums of History NSW's biennial prize celebrates the achievements and creativity of women artists through works that respond to the historic house of Meroogal, its rich cultural heritage and enduring sense of place. Built in 1885, Meroogal was the cherished home of four generations of women from one family over 100 years. The prize is a regional, non-acquisitive competition and exhibition open to work in any medium. Selected artworks are displayed throughout the historic property in Nowra on the NSW South Coast.

The Allegany Arts Council presents a juried exhibition celebrating talented and innovative artists whose work is contemporary, thoughtful, and uniquely portrays the world. The competition takes place at the Allegany Museum Gallery in Cumberland, Maryland. The John Leslie Art Prize is open to all artists living and working in Australia for landscape paintings that have been completed since 1 March 2024. Inaugurated in 2000, the Prize is named after John Leslie OBE (1919-2016), Patron of the Gippsland Art Gallery. The Royal Society of Marine Artists seeks submissions of art inspired by the sea and marine environment, including harbours and shorelines, traditional craft and contemporary shipping, creeks, beaches, and wildlife involving tidal water. The RSMA Annual Exhibition is widely recognised as a showcase for the best in contemporary marine art, with selected work from the open entry hung alongside the work of members. The Exhibitions Committee is in the process of organizing solo and group exhibitions for 2027. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Northville Art House presents a juried exhibition featuring boundary-pushing artwork that inspires thought, provokes emotion, and induces awe. Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces the 16th Annual “Seascapes” Online Art Competition.

The Liberty Speciality Markets Art Award elevates graduate artists through a comprehensive two-year programme. Selected participants receive funding, training, exhibition and sales opportunities. The Tim Murphy Art Gallery is now accepting applications for its 2027 monthly shows. Artists should submit five digital images. All 3D work must be matted and framed (unless on gallery-wrapped canvas). Accepted media include photography, painting, fiber and glass. At least 90% of exhibited work must be for sale.
