Established in 1980, this internationally renowned program annually awards visual artists of all mediums the opportunity to live and create site-specific work inspired by their total immersion experience in the natural environment. Up to 4 artists are selected for residencies at Bernheim. Foci MCGA and Bicycle Glass Co. along with other community partners are launching an annual scholarship program for local glass artists. This annual scholarship is designed to provide glass artists with the financial resources needed to make high-level glass art education, requiring travel, accessible. Scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend Pilchuck Glass School, Corning Museum of Glass, Pittsburgh Glass Center, Penland School of Crafts, or Haystack Mountain School of Crafts with their scholarship, but other educational opportunities can be approved upon request. Scholarships need to be used between March 1, 2026 and August 1, 2026. A final report will be required and due to Foci MCGA by August 31, 2026.

City of Prospect invites South Australian artists /arts teams to submit Expressions of Interest’s (EOI’s) to create a public artwork integral to a new roundabout being installed in Broadview. The Project, Galway Avenue Roundabout Public Art involves creating a vibrant, safe and inviting focal point by incorporating public artwork into the Galway Avenue Roundabout at Broadview, integrated within the overall upgrade.

The Town of Vic Park would like to invite Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and/or experienced Noongar artists and creative practitioners for a major public art commission. The Town is commissioning a significant Indigenous public artwork by an Indigenous artist or Indigenous led collaborative team. Located in a prominent position within the park, the artwork will act as both a landmark and a storytelling element, sharing histories and cultural narratives while contributing to the site’s renewed contemporary use. Artists of all levels of experience are encouraged to express their interest. From the expressions of interest received, several artists will be selected to develop concept designs for a fee. The expression of interest phase (this phase) is unpaid.

Open to all Australians, the $20,000 Artist in Residence program, facilitated by the City of Karratha with Principal Partner Rio Tinto, supports the relocation of a selected artist to the remote WA town of Cossack for a four-week period. During this time, the artist creates a body of works from an onsite studio space and delivers expert workshops to the community as part of the public program. Provided with remote, historic accommodation and studio space, artist’s fee, travel, art supplies and living expenses during their residency, the selected artist is presented with the opportunity to truly focus on their artistic practice in the unique environment that is the historic town of Cossack. The 2026 Artist in Residence will be hosted from 13 July to 10 August 2026, complementing the exhibition and a range of Public Programs presented to generate interest in the visual arts and craft in our region, providing skills development opportunities for local artists, art enthusiasts and visitors.

Using walking as a means to experience place, body, and mind, this thematic residency brings together eight artists to explore the notion of wandering as an aesthetic practice. The fjord, rivers, mountains, valleys, routes, and paths of Seyðisfjörður will provide participants with an arena in which to move and reflect on ideas of space, time, and memory—allowing walks and wanderings to inform their artistic process. Through a series of group hikes (approximately every other day), reading groups, hands-on workshops, casual conversations, and fieldwork, artists will share their sensitivities to place, focusing on process and research rather than on finished production. Participants can expect to participate in 3-4 days of group activities per week, with 3-4 days of self-directed practice. The residency will conclude with an informal presentation of work-in-progress.

Elon University is currently accepting proposals for multiple solo exhibitions that will each run 5-6 weeks throughout the 2026-27 academic year. Exhibitions are scheduled for August 24th-October 2nd, October 5th-November 6th, February 8th-March 12th, March 29th-April 30th. The exhibition would ideally then be used to expand or frame conversations about contemporary definitions of art, materiality, and/or process. All mediums will be considered. Modest honorariums are offered for travel, shipping costs, speaking fees, etc.  Visiting/exhibiting artists will be asked to engage with the students, in the form of critique, on the same day as the artist talk and reception. The major new artwork is sought for the Mathematics and Statistics Common Room at the University of Illinois. It will be a mostly two-story 2,000 SF room with dramatic views of campus and will be housed in the new Illini Hall currently being built in Champaign, Illinois. This room will be a multipurpose gathering space for the faculty and graduate students of the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics and will serve as both the social and intellectual center of these two departments.

This program provides support for and generates awareness about members of Greensboro’s visual arts community while enhancing the downtown built environment with original works of art. The color RED dominates human emotion as the color of passion, power, and intensity—from blazing anger to tender love. Open AIR is best known for its unique place-based Artist-in-Residence program that connects artists from all disciplines and origins, with culturally, historically, and ecologically significant locations through collaborative partnerships in Montana. With innovative opportunities available in places such as remote wilderness areas to historically significant sites closer to town, artists have the opportunity to draw inspiration from a regional community dedicated to preserving place, environment, and the arts.

The Denbo Fellowship is designed to provide artists from diverse artistic disciplines with an environment that fosters both individual and collaborative creative practice. Rumriver Art Center is calling for artists to submit food-themed art. Artists are being prompted to explore any and all aspects of food through their unique creative lens. Many aspects of food exist outside of preparation and consumption. There is a rich art history of depicting food within cultural contexts, community, family tradition, cooking, and scarcity. Pieces may also investigate the societal significance and nuances of food, such as over-indulgence, access, food labor, and agricultural practices. Throughout the duration of the exhibition, Rumriver Art Center is holding a food drive in partnership with HOPE 4 Youth. HOPE 4 Youth is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists young adults experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities Metro area.

Robert A. Peck Gallery is accepting applications of artwork in all media on the theme of portrait, self or others. They are looking for artwork that captures the personality of a person or an animal. The essence of their soul, through aesthetic finesse, and create thought-provoking narratives. They are looking for unique and out of the ordinary images. No videos, films, installation or AI generated images. There is no fee to apply. Prize money of $1000 will be awarded.

The Jan van Eyck Academie welcomes some 36-42 participants from all over the world annually. Next to visual artists, the academy is open to designers – ranging from graphic design, fashion, food to social design – architects, curators, writers and other artistic researchers and makers. Each year, their call for applications is open for two months starting in December and candidates can apply for a 11-month residency. The selection committee chooses new participants on the basis of the submitted project plans, their motivation and documentation. The selected artists have in common an inquisitive, open and engaged attitude, their work testifies to an art practice that is investigative and committed. The Jan van Eyck Academie offers its participants the tools to further develop, materialise and disseminate their research. They are encouraged to explore their ideas in a critical and reciprocal relationship with each other and the world – and in this way, make a contribution to the development of the arts and their significance to society.

"Resolution" is a resolve, decision, or determination. With the New Year, one typically make resolutions and sets goals. As an example, one may resolve to spend more time in nature. The theme is flexible and can be interpreted in different ways, which is up to you as the artist. Your artist statement needs to state how your artwork relates to the theme, and your statement will be displayed with the artwork.

This is an invitation for artists, cultural workers who are descendants of the African Diaspora to apply for resources to support periodic facilitated spaces that support Black inquiry, multi-valent learning and expansion. Black Spatial Relics is a convening space for and supporter of Black radical performance, community care, collective research and transformative gathering. Founded in 2016, Black Spatial Relics has championed new performance work about slavery, justice and freedom through its residency, microgrant and convening programs. As a continuation of that work, Black Spatial Relics team is excited to launch its new flagship program - Conjure Council Funds.

Cafe Tissardmine is a situated in a remote village in the Moroccan Sahara. The recognise the need for artists to recharge, share ideas, be inspired and to find a place to breathe. They run 6 – 7 residencies per year for a maximum of nine artists with this idea in mind. The residency is not project based or requiring specific engagement or outcome but it is a place to find peace and new ideas. Artists from all disciplines are welcome to apply.
A Residency at Cafe Tissardmine is also an opportunity to discover the richness of the Berber culture; their way of life, cooking and crafts.

Located around an hour from Tokyo and a half hour from Tsukuba City, known for hosting one of the largest accumulations of science and technology institutes in the world, ARCUS Research allows participants to come into contact with the contemporary art scene and leading research institutions, as well as devote themselves to their creative endeavors in a calm environment. The program provides participants from around the world with valuable time and space to reflect, unwind, and nurture the creative process.

Alchemy Art Center hosts a seasonal artist residency program on San Juan Island, WA for artists working in the mediums of ceramics, printmaking, fiber art, or darkroom photography. The South Arts Southern Prize and State Fellowships acknowledge, support, and celebrate the highest quality artistic work being created in the American South. Oglebay Institute's Stifel Fine Arts Center, in partnership with historic Bethany College, will host a national exhibition of collegiate ceramic art in February and March 2026. The International Artist Residency Pedvale is now officially accepting applicants for their 2026 Spring Residency programme. Pedvale Art Park & Artist Residency is located two hours northwest of Riga. The Masur Museum of Art began building its collection in 1964 with the very first Juried Competition, when Ida Kohlmeyer, student of Mark Rothko, won first place, and the museum acquired her painting Immanence. Today, the collection houses more than 500 works, including pieces by internationally renowned artists such as Picasso, Renoir, and Rodin. Yet a significant percentage of acquisitions have come directly through the museum’s long history of Juried Competitions. They remain committed to supporting and advancing the work of contemporary artists across the nation through both exhibition and acquisition.

JustArt Collective invites contemporary artists to join Collective Voices, a group exhibition celebrating the power of artistic expression and visibility. They aim to create a platform where emerging and mid-career artists can showcase their work, share their perspectives, and engage with a supportive art community.

All The Small Things: A Small Works Exhibition invites South Jersey artists 18 years and older to submit up to three artwork sample work images that can be translated onto a 10 inch x 10 inch cradled wooden panel. Eligible media includes drawing, painting, collage, photography, watercolor, pastel, hand-pulled prints, mosaic, glass, ceramics, metal, jewelry, and wood. Artists can also submit finished artwork created within the past two years that comply with this 10 inch x10 inch x ⅞" inch cradled wooded panel specified for use in this exhibition.

The Nexus Fund is seeking Project Proposals as a part of their participation in the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Arts Regional Regranting Program. The Nexus Fund underwrites artist-driven projects that engage in risk-taking and experimentation, notably those projects that broaden critical discourse and challenge traditional assumptions. They are seeking proposals for projects – particularly those that are multi-disciplinary and collaborative – that provoke social engagement and center the diverse audiences living and working in Metro Atlanta.* The fund will disburse ten (10), $6,000 grants totaling $60,000.

The Alexander Brest Gallery at Jacksonville University (Jacksonville, FL) is seeking exhibition proposals for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. The Town of Ashland’s Public Art Commission invites artists to submit existing outdoor sculptures for consideration for the 2026 “Art in Orbit” on-loan sculpture program. The Northwest Arts Center is excited to announce the 54th year of the Paperworks juried exhibition at Minot State University. Located in the heart of the arts district of Northeast Minneapolis, the bakery and cafe invites visual artists’ responses to the question, “What does warmth mean to you?” At the intersection between literal heat generated from our bakery ovens and café espresso machine steam wands and the friction emanating from political discourse and issues of justice is the center point for our show’s curation. Playful. Charged. Practical. Electric. What is aflame within you? Where is heat rising in your creative world this winter season? They welcome your artistic responses! This show opens January 9 and will hang for 10 weeks. The Cafe will host an opening night party Friday, January 9, from 5:30–8 PM, with guest DJ Megan O and Cafe Marguerite poet-in-residence, Sara Dovre Wudali. Wine, beer, cocktails and food will be available for sale. All artists will receive a drink ticket. There will be an artist talk at 6pm.

Blue Sky, Oregon Center for the Photographic Arts, is now accepting submissions for the 2026 Pacific Northwest Drawers. Photographic artists based in Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington are welcome to apply. There is no application fee to enter. Since 2007, with the establishment of the Pacific Northwest Drawers (PNW Drawers) program, Blue Sky has been showcasing the diverse photography coming out of the region. Threshold Gallery is seeking emerging or established artists for the upcoming 2026 exhibit season. The season includes four seven-week exhibit periods open to individual or collaborative artists. Visual artists and collaborative visual teams of no more than three members are eligible to apply. Threshold Gallery was established by Mithun in 2008 to connect people with art, artists and the built environment, as well as to inspire and drive our work as designers. It is a multi-level gallery space located within the lobby of Seattle’s historic Pier 56.

Media artists from around the world can now enter their work to be considered for the 2026 European Media Art Festival. Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces the 15th Annual “All Women” Online Art Competition.

There is no theme for this competition, so any subject matter and any media are acceptable for consideration. Both 2D & 3D women artists only, worldwide, are invited to submit their best representational and/or abstract art.

Artists of all disciplines creating in any media are welcome to apply. Farm Studio International Artist Residency is located in a rural community in India. Residents stay and create in a quiet art centre and beautiful environment where they can develop their artwork free from accustomed distractions. Farm Studio residency provides three types of working spaces where artists can explore their art and ideas in the rural Rajasthani environment; at the Farm Studio indoor studios, the outdoor desert and farm environments, and in Andore Village. Collaboration and experimentation is encouraged. Relationships form between the artists coming from different countries and varied social, cultural, and artistic backgrounds. Many exciting exchanges and dialogues among artists take place, including scheduled artist talks, presentations, works in progress showings, etc.

The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant program is intended to provide interim financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs are the result of an unforeseen, catastrophic incident, and who lack the resources to meet that situation. Each grant is given as one-time assistance for a specific emergency, examples of which are fire, flood, or emergency medical need.

The Artist In Residence Program (AIR) serves K – 5 students in all six Jamestown elementary schools following the school calendar. Residency options include a fall semester and a winter/spring semester, or both. Artists follow a visual arts curriculum structured on basic design elements working with teachers and administrators. Each rotation requires a completed “Unit Plan” which includes lesson plans or goals, supplies needed, and a section for teacher feedback. The resident artist may use the rest of the day and the weekends for personal studio time, including access to the pottery studio and print shop, and teaching classes at the Arts Center.

Coconino Center for the Arts (CCA) is central to Northern Arizona’s vibrant creative culture, fostering an engaged, equitable, and imaginative community. Managed by Creative Flagstaff, CCA serves the arts, science, and cultural sectors of Flagstaff. CCA’s facilities include a 4000 sq ft Main Gallery, an adjacent 215 sq ft Project Gallery, and an intimate 200-seat Theater. CCA is located on US 180 in route to the Grand Canyon. CCA invites exhibition proposals from artists, curators, and cultural organizations for rolling review by the CCA Exhibitions Selection Committee. The Main Gallery hosts 3-4 major exhibitions annually, with a rotation of 4-6 exhibitions in the Project Gallery. Interdisciplinary proposals that include digital media or installation elements are encouraged.

They are looking for local and regional artists (North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia) to submit pieces to be hung in this newly renovated, high-traffic public space. Every three months the gallery will be filled with new art, chosen by committee. The artists chosen for each time period will be able to display 3 pieces of art. They will have wall space for paintings, and cabinet space for small sculpture, pottery, jewelry, etc. Information about the artists and how to contact them will be displayed by their work.

The Lakkos Artist Residency is a base for creatives to come and explore an authentic Greece city and a wonderful Greek island. The residency has just relocated to a new location that like the previous one needs a bit of an art injection. It’s a small area in Heraklion’s Old Town that time has not touched.
There are a couple of city beaches within walking distance. There is no obligation to put on a presentation at the end of an artist’s stay but if desired we often have one-night-only shows.

The Residency @ Greywood Arts is an artist-run space in our iconic 3-story Georgian house located in the centre of Killeagh, a vibrant modern Irish village. The Dissour River runs alongside the residency, and the the ancient Irish woodland Glenbower is just a short walk upstream. The house and garden are also home to Greywood’s Artistic Director, Jessica Bonenfant, her husband Hughie Coogan, and a menagerie of dogs, cats, chickens and goats. The Coach House, Greywood Arts CLG’s not-for-profit creative hub with studios, art classroom and event space is adjacent to the residency.

Professional, contemporary artists/art professionals from all disciplines for whom nature and the surrounding seaside could be an interesting theme to work on are invited to apply.

Their environment is a unique archipelago. With the National Parks and the Archipelago Sea Biosphere Reserve, frozen seas, light summer nights, rich birdlife as well as amazing star nights – this place has something to offer around the year: Outer archipelago or the nearby wild forest lake, the seaside is straight outside AARK, passing ships.

AARK can offer a quiet retreat as well as a more social setting depending on the artist’s needs and other art professionals visiting. They organize a weekly informal meeting in the residency. Travel and working plans, questions, dinners and sauna … or just some coffee together.

The Ano Asites Artists Residency is the sister residency to the Lakkos Artists Residency in Heraklion city. The Lakkos Artists Residency has been running since 2015. After a request from some of the locals in Ano Asites village a new residency was started. The project started in 2019 and hopes over time to create an artistic community based in the village.

Olepangi Farm allows artists to luxuriate in the sound of hyena at night and in the long views, to reflect on the objects of art from our travels and to linger over meaningful conversations. Over the years, their lodge has drawn amazing artists who have brought their imagination and creativity to this little paradise. The Olepangi Artist-in-Residence Programme is designed to create a space where people and communities come together to share and learn; and for the artist, to create an exceptional experience for those seeking the time and mental space to investigate new ideas and deepen artistic inquiry. They are open to thinkers and creatives and will consider anyone with deep interest and already well-developed skill in visual arts, writing, culinary arts, composers, musicians, scholars, filmmakers, architects and more.

This residence program offers all entering participants a fully furnished room within a communal apartment located on the aqb premises, as well as a studio space catering to the project’s requirements.
They offer varied services to integrate residents into the local art scene and assist in establishing professional connections that best support their work and career. aqb personnel provide assistance through the program, catering to practical needs related to life in Budapest, to obtaining necessary materials, equipment and more.
The residency program offers broad possibilities for artists, including cooperation among various disciplines, backgrounds and interests to serve as sources of inspiration.

The Gallery at Graphite is seeking proposals for high quality art exhibits for their 760 sq ft gallery space in downtown Edmonds. Curators and established art groups (societies, associations, clubs, leagues, etc.) are encouraged to apply with a proposal.  The Gallery at Graphite is a program of the non-profit organization Art Start Northwest.

NOW Art is actively seeking artists nationwide to design unique and original mural compositions for community-focused programs. These public facing projects are in partnership with corporations. Each mural is delivered as digital compositions or scanned high-resolution traditionally created artwork files. Approved artwork images will be printed on high quality vinyl, enlarged and adhered professionally in site specific locations.
