VOICES IN COLOR: THE SPECTRUM OF EXPRESSION EXHIBITION
Exhibition Dates: May 20 to June 12, 2026
Juror: Austin Lubetkin
TAG Gallery invites submissions for an upcoming juried exhibition featuring artists on the autism spectrum, as well as artists whose work explores the experience of autism through art. This exhibition aims to create space for work that is personal, perceptive, challenging, intimate, or experimental, and to highlight a range of perspectives around neurodivergence, identity, communication, perception, and lived experience.
U.S. based Artists 18 years of old + are encouraged to submit work in any medium that engages thoughtfully with these themes. We welcome artwork that speaks directly from lived experience, as well as work that reflects on autism through observation, advocacy, family experience, social critique, or broader explorations of neurodivergence.
As part of this opportunity, applicants will also have the option to participate in a Zoom session focused on professional development skills for artists on the autism spectrum. This session is intended to provide practical guidance and support for navigating the art world as a working artist.
JUROR Austin Lubetkin
Austin Lubetkin is a visual artist and software engineer whose work is shaped by his experiences of autism and synesthesia. He sees language, sound, and emotion as colors and patterns, and translates this sensory crossover into bold, graphic compositions. Using the visual language of advertising, social media, and luxury branding, his work explores how identity, beauty, and neurodivergence are packaged, judged, and sold. Lubetkin is a member of the international artists association. Lubetkin's work has been exhibited at galleries and museums across the United States including recent exhibits at the Sasse Museum and Awita Gallery and in international exhibitions at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art and Red Dot in Basel, Switzerland. He has also served as both curator and featured artist for an exhibition at the Orlando Science Center, focusing on the intersection of technology and perception.
