One of five male court musicians from a hina ningyō (Girl’s Day doll) set known as the gonin-bayashi. Arranged to reflect the traditional configuration of musical accompaniment in Noh theater, each figure represents a distinct instrumental role. This figure holds the role of the ōkawa drummer, distinguished by the barrel-shaped drum played with both hands.
They sit on the third tier of the set. It comes on a 1.5"x7"x4.75" base.
