One of three court ladies, or sannin kanjo, from a traditional set of hina ningyō (Girls’ Day dolls). Depicted holding a kuwae-no-chōshi—a sake vessel used to replenish the nagae-no-chōshi—she represents one of the attendants charged with serving sake during imperial wedding rituals. The sannin kanjo serve the imperial couple, symbolizing care, refinement, and the supportive presence of courtly women within the inner palace.
They sit on the second tier of the set. It comes on a 1.5"x7"x4.75" base.
