One of three attendants (sannin shichō), or protectors, from a hina ningyō set, traditionally displayed for Girl's Day. These figures accompany the imperial couple upon their departure from the palace, symbolizing guardianship and ceremonial presence.
They sit on the fifth tier of the set. It comes on a 1.5"x7"x4.75" base.
