Here I referenced photos taken during one of my “self-performances” (private performances for my camera, which often instigate new paintings) of myself while pregnant. The body language of the hands references my recent research interests in witchcraft and sorcery, while the smear of her lower half meditates on the visceral sensations within the body after giving birth.
