The Full Fellowship Award for 2026 includes accommodations, studio space and two meals each day for the two week duration of the residency at no cost to the artist. The artist is responsible for their own travel to the residency, and daily stipend for any groceries, art supplies or excursions outside of the village. The Mudhouse Residency will sponsor two Full Fellowships for the 2026 season. The Full fellowship is determined by a selection committee based on the merit of the applicants' work.

Artists are encouraged to apply to both the Full Fellowship Award and the General Application. The Full Fellowship Award is very competitive, in 2025 it received 400 applications for two awards. Artists who apply for the Full Fellowship award will not be automatically considered for the General application, the General Application is determined by a separate selection committee under different guidelines.
