Untitled by Ruggero Gamberini, Image 1.
A compact yet layered collage in which Ruggero Gamberini orchestrates blocks of colour and sweeping oil-painted gestures into a tense, shifting architecture. Greens, blues and muted ochres collide and overlap, creating a sense of depth that feels both constructed and provisional, as if the image could still rearrange itself when no one’s looking. The vertical fracture running through the composition acts like a fault line, holding the whole structure in a delicate state of balance between abstraction and landscape.
