Untitled by Ruggero Gamberini, Image 1.
Intersecting planes of green, yellow and deep blue lock together in a composition that feels both assembled and contested. Brushed oil paint moves from translucent sweeps to dense, worked passages, while the collage seams remain deliberately exposed, slicing the surface into unstable zones. The result is a compact field of controlled friction - colour negotiating space rather than occupying it, structure constantly on the verge of recalculation.
