This canvas was originally started in Life Drawing Class at Abbotsbury Studios, Dorset. The model was doubled over and though I really enjoyed my live (very fast!) sketch, I decided to add to it back at home. This is what emerged, hence the name From Within. I liked it and stopped. It's finished because I say so. That's the beauty of abstract; you never know what's within, behind the mask.
