This is a lovely original early charcoal drawing by Dorr Bothwell. This most likely was a life drawing study by Bothwell as it shows tack holes in the corners as well as some missing paper on upper and lower left corners.
Provenance: This piece was gifted to the Mendocino Art Center by Theodore Anderson and Nancy Flowers.
