This framed antique French political comic is believed to be a page out of Journal Amusant, a French weekly satirical magazine published from 1856 until 1933. This print was part of a generous donation to the Mendocino Art Center by Janet and David Peoples.
There is a note on the back of this framed work stating November 5, 1864.
