This painting is about life, and the fact that our physical existence will eventually decline over the years. Having the realization that this is something we need to accept and make peace with is essential. We are not 33 years old any longer, and we have been fortunate to have lived beyond that. Tolerance implies there is resistance, acceptance is full disclosure, full of empathy, full of compassion, and full of love for all who have experienced life beyond 33 years. How fortunate we have been.
