Track to the Sea

Part of my semi-abstract seascape body of work, in which I have focussed on the atmosphere and feeling of standing close to the sea. There's that sense of excitement we all feel as you get closer to the shore; the sense of energy, where land meets sea, a margin and zone of transition.

This work on paper is a combination of watercolour and acrylic, with heavy texture in the foreground, contrasting with the translucent washes of sea and sky as the view recedes.

Ready to be framed under glass with a deep mount.
