This little flat frog landed on my window, one rainy evening. I have a bit of a fascination with frogs. It is said that one of the first indications when the environment is in trouble is that the frogs disappear from the area, so it is always reassuring to see some healthy ones hopping around the yard.
I used a large flat brush and painted this with shades of green, aqua, yellow, pink and blue, in a blocky contemporary style. I became a bit inventive with the colours.
The stretched canvas can be hung without a frame and has sides painted a deep green.
