The Potsdamer Platz-Series

Since years I am taking photographs of reflections in mirrors and glass surfaces. I am interested how the reality starts to transform through the changes the material does with it.

In July 2001 I spent some days in Berlin and took photos of the Potsdamer Platz and especially the fountain under the magnificent tent-construction, covering the nearly round place , inspired me to two series of works.

In the Urban Water-Series the reflections of the steel-roof construction are distorted due to the irregular ripples of the water in the pool.
