The Potsdamer Platz Series

For this series, I photographed reflections on the glass surfaces of buildings at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin Mitte. I was interested in how the material transforms reality.

In the Urban Landscape Series, reflections of the steel roof construction become distorted by the irregular glass panels of surrounding building façades. This distortion creates a map-like impression that I explored in my paintings.
