This was probably a kit made by Lucy Hilty’s mother, Hattie Geiger Hilty. Fine cotton coverlet with thin cotton batting. Blue and pink feathered wreaths embroidered in a symmetrical pattern. White cotton thread quilted medallions alternate between the embroidered figures. The quilt is stitched with a cross-cross intersecting lines 1/4” apart in a planned design. It is trimmed with a matching piping. The quilt was washed many times as Lucy used it on her bed.
