MIA White cotton with Churn Dash or Monkey Wrench pattern of diagonal diamonds in pink and two shades of blue cotton. Thin cotton batting, backing white cotton. The blue fabric is the same as the work shirts of that era. The borders are four separate pieces that end on the diagonal rather than flow around the corner. The quilting pattern in white stitches follows the diagonal lines of the churn dash figures to create movement. The quilt is hand bound with the pink fabrics.
