Spilled Beads

Spilled Beads is a painting of a dream. In this dream I was holding a box of glass beads that spilled onto the ground. When I bent to pick them up I saw hills on fire, a flood, meteors and a big tiger just a few feet away. I looked back down and continued to pick up the spilled beads. I thought the dream meant I was ignoring important things. But now I think it means: The really big problems are hard to fix, but you can start by fixing the little ones right in front of you.
