Submerged Structures lives entirely in blue — but blue as a world, not a color. From the near-black of the upper depths to the electric cyan of the lower field, the painting moves through every register of water and atmosphere, light and shadow, surface and what lies beneath it. At center, darker forms press upward through the layers — architectural, almost urban, caught between emergence and dissolution. Horizontal marks sweep across the lower half like current. The structures neither sink nor surface. They hold, suspended, in a field that is always in motion.
