Rooms of the Unfinished begins in the earth — rust, sienna, and dark ground layered until the surface holds its own history. Out of that ground, rectangles emerge at different states of becoming: a black sealed against the light, an orange-red burning at center, deep crimsons still submerged, and on the right, teal and cobalt opening into space. At the base, a strip of yellow arrives like light beneath a door left ajar. Each rectangle a room. Some closed. Some burning. One, finally, beginning to open.
