This absolutely wonderful glazed stoneware sculpture, of two whimsical elephants bursting out of a Cadbury’s Caramilk chocolate bar, is an excellent example of the early sculptural work by the Canadian ceramist Lenore Atwood. Date created circa 1990s. Signed by the artist on the bottom: Atwood.
The sculpture measures 8 5/8 inches long, 4 1/4 inches wide and sits 3 3/8 inches high. The sculpture weighs 2 pounds 3 ounces.
