I have always been magically drawn to deep blue-green water. As a small child, I stopped at a pond in the forest as if hypnotized, gazing at the blue green depth.

This painting was created as the second of three paintings in a series.

I like the greens and the turquoise together with the earthy colors of the forest and sometimes I see how faraway horizons are reflected on the surface.
