I have always been magically drawn to deep blue-green water. As a small child, I stopped at a pond in the forest as if hypnotized, my gaze connected to the turquoise blue and the secrets that lie within. It wasn’t until much later that I realized that everyone else had already moved on.

This painting was created during #cvp2024 as the first of three paintings in a series. I like the greens and the blues together with the earthy colors of the forest and the lines guiding me through the stories beneath the surface….
