Artist: Cheryl Palmer

Cheryl has called Baton Rouge home for over two decades --- it’s where she and her husband have raised their three sons. Her interest in art began in early childhood, but it was not until later in life, with the encouragement of her family and friends, that she pursued it as a career. Since making the decision to take a leap of faith, Cheryl is continually humbled by the countless opportunities and support she receives from loved ones, colleagues and clients.

Growing up in a military family, she had the opportunity to live in a variety of places that continue to influence her work. Her faith, her love of people, and her adventures in travel are sources of inspiration.

Cheryl’s medium of choice is acrylic on canvas, paper, wood or slate, and her paintings are abstract in nature. Her pieces can be seen in homes and businesses all over the United States and as far away as the United Kingdom.
