Harmonic is part of my Glasscapes collection. It presents a quiet interplay of form and space where fused glass geometric shapes and linear elements come together in thoughtful balance. A soft blend of pastel pinks, greens, and whites creates a gentle gradient backdrop that feels airy and calm. Against this subtle foundation, slender vertical gold lines of beautiful transparent pink glass on edge intersect with a loose grid of black lines, establishing structure without rigidity. Along these lines, glass blocks of blue, purple, beige, and black add depth and a carefully measured contrast. Near the lower middle area, three small black circles align horizontally, introducing a rhythmic punctuation that guides the eye. The composition lives in a minimalist, modernist realm, embracing simplicity while inviting quiet reflection on the relationships between shape, color, and space.
The block is 4"x4"x2" with whitewashed sides. An added small side "tattoo" mimics the design on the front of the block. Sit this piece on a desk, shelf or mantle, or hang it on the wall for a unique display.
