Ascending is part of my fused glass Glasscapes collection. It evokes a calm ascent through a subtle interplay of form and hue. Soft blends of blue, green, and off-white cradle whispers of warm light near the base, while slender lines and fused glass geometric shapes rise with quiet intent. Darker accents punctuate the space—clusters of glowing centers and scattered dots framed delicately—creating a rhythm that feels both measured and open. Muted tones anchor the composition, guiding the eye without command. The result is a restrained harmony, an abstract passage that invites reflection without dictation.

The block is 4"x4"x2" with whitewashed sides. An added small side "tattoo" mimics the design on the front of the block. Sit this piece on a desk, shelf or mantle, or hang it on the wall for a unique display.
