Carried Light is an exploration of presence — how something small and luminous can anchor an expansive field.
In this slender vertical format, a compact cluster of geometric forms rests near the lower third, tethered by a refined metallic line. The composition feels intentional and distilled, allowing the atmospheric background of soft aqua, warm neutrals, and subtle gold accents to breathe.
The layered glass elements are individually cut and kiln-fused to create depth, shadow, and dimensional nuance. As light shifts across the surface, metallic highlights quietly glow — reinforcing the idea of illumination held and sustained.
Part of the Glasscapes series, Carried Light suggests a solitary structure within an open landscape — light held within form. Subtle metallic accents catch and reflect ambient light throughout the day.
A refined piece suited for transitional spaces or as a vertical accent in a modern interior.
I added a glass "tattoo" design on the whitewashed side of the wood panel which mimics the front and adds interest. This fused glass artwork is 24" x 6"x 2"and is ready to hang.
