The Arts Garage celebrates it's birthday with a Juried Art Show!
We welcome 3 distinguished artists to serve as jurors for this exhibition:  
Dani Fuller, David King and David Wolff.  
They will be selecting work from on-line submissions only and will award $2,000 in prize money plus exhibition opportunities to artists!

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Open to all regional artists 18 years or older.
  • Open to any art form and any subject matter considered family friendly for public display 
  • Only original artwork, created by the artist will be accepted. No prints or reproductions
  • 2-D Artwork should be no wider than 50 inches or weigh more than 50 pounds.
$35 for up to 3 pieces 
Members get a 40% discount with code

Rules and Terms:

SALES
Artwork will be available for sale, unless it is marked “NFS” (Not for Sale) by the artist. GPCAAC will retain a 20% commission on pieces sold via the exhibit. Artists should take this into consideration when pricing their artwork. Sold artwork may be picked up by the customer at the conclusion of the exhibition.

LIABILITY
GPCAAC  will handle all artwork with great care, but will not be responsible for loss or damage. Artists are encouraged to carry their own insurance. GPCAAC holds the right to photograph & reproduce any entry for educational & promotional purposes only. The receipt of an entry into the Juried Art Show will constitute an agreement by the artist with the conditions set forth in this prospectus.


ACCEPTANCE, DELIVERY AND RETURN:  

TAG staff has the right to refuse any work not properly prepared for display.
  • 3-D art should sit solidly on a flat surface without tipping. 
  • 2-D art should be less than 50 inches wide and weigh less than 50 pounds.
  • All wall-hung art must be framed, or presented with neat-finished looking edges.  It is recommended that works under glass use acrylic or plexiglass.
  • Pieces must be securely wired to hang. No sawtooth hangers will be accepted. 
DROP OFF/PICK UP:
  • All accepted work is to be hand-delivered to The Arts Garage (317 W Perry St, Port Clinton) on Aug 1, 2 and no later than noon on August 3, unless prior shipping arrangements have been made.
  • Specific drop off times on Aug 1,2 & 3 will be sent in acceptance letter. (FYI that is the Arts in the Park event weekend in Port Clinton).
  • Do NOT ship directly to The Arts Garage.  If you are shipping please reach out for instructions to [email protected].  Artwork received by mail must include prepaid return label, or arrange an in-person pickup.
  • Artists are required to provide an Art Exhibition and Loan Agreement at the time of delivery  (agreements are sent via email upon acceptance). A copy of the signed Art Exhibition and Loan Agreement will be the receipt for all accepted works. 
  • Works may not be removed from the exhibit until the end of the show unless approved by the artist and exhibition director. 
  • Artists must pick up work by September 1.  Any work is not claimed by September 15 will become the property of The Arts Garage.
