InResidency is TBQA’s low-residency program built for artists who need real momentum without relocating. It happens online with optional in-person time in Mexico City (CDMX)—a hybrid studio ecosystem where queer and allied artists build community, deepen practice, and move work forward with intention.
You’ll get weekly studio visits, structured critique, and curatorial mentorship that supports both the technical “how” and the conceptual “why.” The program is designed to cut through isolation and distraction, replacing it with accountability, dialogue, and a shared studio culture. InResidency also opens pathways to TBQA’s publishing and exhibition ecosystem—because making the work is only half the story; being seen in the right context is the other half.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Mexico City–based artists who want proximity and access.
- International artists seeking access, not obligation
- InResidency & Represented artists deepening their engagement
- Artists who thrive in adaptable, lightly guided environments with strong curatorial support
