This is a free event and open to artists of all ages and skill levels.
Any artwork related to flight will be eligible to be entered into the show.  See examples of past subject matter in the Eligibility criteria section below.
Rose City Art Gallery Presents: Art In Flight — A Weekend of Art, Aviation & Community.
Prepare for takeoff. Rose City Art Gallery transforms into a celebration of motion, memory, and craftsmanship as we present Art In Flight in conjunction with the 5th annual Rose City Airfest. Join us for a distinctive cultural experience that brings together historic aircraft, powerful visual art, and a lively community spirit. Art submission are not limited to aircrafts.

• September 30, 2025 - Delivery artwork to Rose City Art Gallery 10-am to 4pm

We invite you to enter your flight themed artwork in celebration of the 5th annual Rose City Air Fest. Artwork can include any subject related to flight. This show is not limited to airplanes but rather anything that can fit a flight theme. In 2024, we had many subjects from flying squirrels, flying balloons, birds, etc... Get creative and lets have some fun!

The Palette of Roses Art League (PORAL), founded in 1952, is dedicated to fostering artistic growth, education, and community engagement in Tyler, Texas. Its nonprofit gallery, Rose City Art Gallery, showcases member artwork year-round and provides sales opportunities.

The Tyler Arts and Culture Collective
The mission of the Tyler Arts and Culture Collective is to educate, inspire, elevate and preserve Tyler’s unique arts and culture community.

We are a dynamic group focused on representing and promoting Tyler as an East Texas arts and culture hot spot. The purpose of the collective is to work towards building a united arts voice for Tyler’s diverse arts community, strengthening and supporting arts and culture initiatives.
