This is a call for artwork to be exhibited at the 2026 Strawberry Festival Fine Arts Exhibit.

Please note that while you may register for this exhibit online, there is an IN PERSON DROP OFF DATE on February 14, 2026 from 1 - 6 pm. 

There is an IN PERSON PICK UP DATE on  March 9, 2026 from 1 - 6 pm. 

Adults may enter up to 4 pieces in this show.
Youth may enter up to 2 pieces in this show. 


Artists must fill out the request the form prior to or at the intake. 


Award Info:

WINNERS will be selected by Professional Art Show Judges. PRIZE MONEY and Rosette Ribbons will be awarded to winners of FIRST PLACE & SECOND PLACE (then judges choices for winners of Rosette Ribbons as 3rdPlace & 4thPlace Merit)

Eligibility Criteria:

This Fine Art Show Exhibit is OPEN to all FLORIDA RESIDENTS & WINTER VISITORS to enter artwork.

Prizes are Limited to One Judge’s Award Ribbon per Artist in the adult divisions (Limit does not include specialty Awards as Strawberry Theme or Business Leader Choice) 


Rules and Terms:

1. Maximum 4 ENTRIES per Adult; Maximum 2 ENTRIES per Youth.

2. PRESENTATION FOR HANGING -NO WET PAINT will be accepted. Entries must be suitable for family viewing & not previously exhibited at Florida Strawberry Festival Fine Art Show 

3. This Fine Art Show Exhibit is OPEN to all FLORIDA RESIDENTS & WINTER VISITORS to enter artwork.

4. Prizes are Limited to One Judge’s Award Ribbon per Artist in the adult divisions (Limit does not include specialty Awards as Strawberry Theme or Business Leader Choice) 

5.  Hanging ALL ADULT DIVISIONS: A,B,C,D,E,H,I,J,K,L –Canvas art Must be securely Framed or Gallery Wraps painted finished edges with no staples on sides or back. Must be securely wired on the back from side-to-side for hanging. No Sawtooth hangers. 

6. Hanging ALL YOUTH DIVISIONS: R, S, T, U, V, W --ART ON CANVAS with NO FRAMES. Must be securely wiredfrom side-to-side for hanging. No Sawtooth hangers. (WE WILL HAVE AN EXCEPTION THIS YEAR 2026 FOR Youth Art Work on Paperthat was completed before December 31, 2025 ---SINCE SOME RULES WERE POSTED EARLIER –Artwork does not need wire hangers, but must be mounted on heavier stock paper, our workers will place in plastic sleeves for hanging) 

7. SIZES OF ART ACCEPTED –(These maximum sizes are strict as width & height to fit upright on the gallery display panels). Adult Divisions A,B,C,D,E,H,I,J,K,L: The Maximum size INCLUDING THE FRAME. NO larger than 36” width/horizontal/landscape view, AND 60” high/vertical/portrait; Miniature Division M: The Maximum size INCLUDING THE FRAME. NO larger than 7” wide & 7” high; Miniature paintings as small scale, example a subject should be no larger than 1/6th actual size and not just painted on smaller canvas. 

Youth Divisions R,S,T,U,V,W: The Maximum size NO larger than 16” wide/horizontal/landscape view x 20” high/vertical/portrait view; 

8. YOU MAY SELL YOUR ART DURING THE FESTIVAL –HOWEVER, ALL ART MUST Stay on Exhibit the full 11 days of the festival, No early removals. You can make arrangements for buyer to get sold art from you AFTERfestival ends. 

9. MEMBER DISCOUNTS: East Hillsborough Art Guild Members receive a $2 discount on each entry; Membership forms will be available at entry table or download from website EHAGfinearts.Org

10. ART TEACHERS WITH MORE THAN 10 ENTRIES -Must use pre-registration “Early Entry” by U.S.Mail and must call for Special Times to bring art on the official entry date of the Fine Art Show Exhibit (see following page for instructions). 

11. SPACE IS LIMITED: Suggest “Early Entry” using mailing process to reserve space in show (see following page for instructions).

12. COPYRIGHT LAWS: Responsibility of the Artist to not violate Copyright Laws, Any violation of copyright laws will result in suspension from future exhibits –Example: do not copy or use art seen in magazines or other sources, do not use famous people/images to create your own entry without major changes --suggest view website https://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/



Media Accepted: Original Art Only. No prints from originals. (DO NOT VIOLATE COPYRIGHT LAWS) 

Oils, acrylics, watercolors, graphite, colored pencil, charcoal, water media, gouache, pastels, egg tempera, scratch board, mixed media, ink washes, pen & ink, markers, 3D attachments to 2D art but only if under plexi-glass or plastic casings for adult divisions (exception 3D for youth divisions if secured tightly to the canvas), Crayon will be accepted in Youth Divisions only; We will accept PAINTINGS ON WOOD if not too heavy to hang –entry table staff will decide. 

Media NOT Accepted:No photography, No prints of your original work, No computer generated art, stained glass, glass etching, collage, tole/craft painting on china or ceramic molds. No reproductions or art created at art workshop/classes will be allowed in any Adult Division; MUST NOT VIOLATE COPYRIGHT LAWS including, but not limited to published photographic/art. Any violation of copyright laws will result in suspension from future exhibits. Determinations by entry committee/judges are final.

RETURNED CHECK FEES: Artist and/or check signer agrees to pay all bank fees for checks that do not successfully clear bank and then pay entry fee in cash instead of replacement check –entering in this fine art show exhibit competition constitutes agreement. Artwork will not be returned until fees paid. 

LIABILITY & AGREEMENT: Every care will be taken to secure the safety of all art, but the EAST HILLSBOROUGH ART GUILD and/or the FLORIDA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL INC. will not be responsible for any loss or damage and will not make restitution for same. 

SELLING ART & ABANDONED ART Artist may make arrangements AFTER the festival ends for sales transactions. All art must remain in our exhibit the full 11 days of the show, no early removals for any reason. Artist is responsible for collecting and reporting sales tax. Confirm no Copyright Laws have been violated. PICK UP DATE: Artist MUST MAKE ARRANGEMENTS to pick up art after festival ends on the ONE date posted or will be considered a donation to the EHAG for fund raising purposes. Anyone participating in this contest by way of entry, hereby agrees and consents to the use of any picture of exhibitor in any or all publications, TV, publicity brochure, internet, etc., that the Florida Strawberry Festival® or East Hillsborough Art Guild may desire. 

Artwork not picked up and claimed on the ONE PICK UP DAY will be forfeitedto the East Hillsborough Art Guild 

SUBMISSION OF WORK IN THIS COMPETITION CONSTITUTES AGREEMENT 

ON THE PART OF THE ARTIST TO ALL RULES & CONDITIONS
