RULES & TERMS
- 6" x 6" Canvases & Wood Panels - must be 1/2 -2" in depth. Wood panels must be cradled. Do not frame.
- Canvas & wood panels must be 6" x 6" in size. Wood panels must be cradled. Canvases & Panels must be 1/2" - 2" in depth. NO FLAT BOARDS OR PANELS.
- 2D Artwork such as prints, drawings, collages maximum size: 6” x 6” including frame. See example: https://www.michaels.com/product/fundamentals-5-x-5-display-frame-by-studio-decor-10739410
- 2D Artwork such as prints, drawings, & collages can also be securely mounted on a 6" x 6" wood panel or canvas, must be 1/2 -2" in depth.
- 3D work must fit within 6" x 6" x 6" measurements and must measure 6" in one direction.
- All work must be priced at $66.00 , $166.00 or $266.00 etc.
- All works submitted may not be selected for exhibit.
- Accepted work must be prepared to be professional displayed. All work must be suitably wired and ready for hanging. Works on paper must be framed under plexiglass or glass: 6” x 6” including frame.
- Maximum 6 Submissions
- All work must be the original work of the artist. AI works will NOT be excepted.
- Works must be wired ready to hang on the wall; D-rings & wired (we discourage the use of saw tooth hangers). Without a wire or hanging device, staff can choose not to include works.
- 25% of proceeds will go to the NMHU Foundation Arts Program & Student Success.
- Artists are required to display works for sale. This is a fundraisng event.
- Artists are responsible for delivery/transportation to and from Kennedy Gallery. Some short-term storage is available for pick up arranged ahead of time.
- Artists are required to deliver work with Artist’s name, title, email and phone number secured to back/bottom of each piece.
- Kennedy Gallery takes 25% commission.
- Artwork exhibited in the Kennedy Gallery is insured for the duration of the exhibit. (Artist is responsible for insuring art during delivery/transportation/shipping.)
- The Gallery will retain the submitted images of artwork and reserves the right to use the images in publications and gallery publicity. Beyond such use, the artist retains full copyright of exhibited work.
Work that is not picked up or does not have return postage will become property of the Foundation to be used at our discretion.
