The Mt. Adams Art Festival is a neighborhood-wide arts activation designed to connect the Cincinnati Art Museum and the Mt. Adams business district through visual art, live painting, music, and family programming.
We are seeking artists to exhibit as part of a curated lineup that will transform Mt. Adams into a walkable arts experience for the day.
The festival will take place:
Saturday, May 30, 2026
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Mt. Adams Business District
Cincinnati, Ohio
Artists will exhibit throughout several curated outdoor zones in the neighborhood including two parking lots on St. Gregory Street, the terraces of Bow Tie Café, and a lot on Pavilion Street, creating an open-air artist market in the heart of the district.
In addition to the artist market, the event will include live painting organized by the Cincinnati Art Club, with painters working along the route between the Cincinnati Art Museum and the Mt. Adams business district, visually connecting the museum to the neighborhood throughout the day.
The Cincinnati Art Museum will also be hosting an arts event at Seasongood Pavilion, creating a full day of arts programming in Mt. Adams.
The festival experience will include:
• A curated marketplace of local artists
• Artist painting in the open air and a Plein Air Exhibition at the Cincinnati Art Club
• A family-friendly Little Artist Zone
• Live music in the district
• Food and beverages available from Mt. Adams businesses
This form allows us to gather basic information about interested artists so we can curate a lineup that represents a strong and diverse mix of mediums and styles.
Submitting this form does not guarantee acceptance, but it ensures that you will be considered for participation.
ARTIST WILL BE SELECTED BY APRIL 30TH. Form closes that day.
Selected artists will receive a follow-up email with booth assignments, artist agreements, and event details.
Artists will be encouraged to share the event with their networks.
The Mt. Adams Art Festival is intended to become a recurring arts event in the neighborhood, and participating artists will be among the first considered for future editions. We are excited to highlight artists and help reestablish Mt. Adams as one of Cincinnati’s historic arts neighborhoods.
