Dates of Exhibition (the “Exhibition Period”): August 29 - October 5, 2025
Opening Reception: Saturday, September 6, 5 - 7 pm

Artwork on Exhibit (“Work” or “Works”):

●      ALRI agrees to display the above Works at the ALRI property and to maintain their condition for the entire period they are at ALRI for the Exhibition Period
●      The Artist is responsible for transportation and handling of the Works to and from the gallery.
●      The Artist agrees to pick up any unsold items within the timeframe agreed upon for the exhibit

Rights to Works. The Artist warrants that the Works are original creations of the Artist and that the Artist is the sole owner of the Works, has full legal title and intellectual property rights to such Works, and is authorized to consign such Works to ALRI. The Artist agrees to hold ALRI harmless against any damages resulting from a breach of this warranty. Selection of the Works must be mutually agreed upon by both the Artist and ALRI, with final decision about what Works may or may not be consigned, and how the Works may be presented within the sole discretion of ALRI.

Sales. Prices provided by the Artist should reflect the 40% commission (30% ALRI members) given to ALRI on all artworks sold. Artists will be paid 60% (70% ALRI members) of the sale price by ALRI within 30 calendar days after the exhibition closes.

Delivery and Removal
. Packing and shipping expenses, insurance, and risk of loss incurred in the delivery of the Works, both to ALRI and back to the Artist when the consignment has ended, shall be the sole responsibility of the Artist. The Artist represents that the Works are in such condition as to withstand the usual and customary stress and demands of packing, transportation, and display. All wall-mounted Works must be delivered by the Artist framed, wired, matted, or otherwise ready for installation. The Artist agrees to deliver the Works, or to arrange for the delivery, to ALRI. The Artist agrees to remove the Works or to arrange to have the Works removed from the gallery within the timeframe agreed upon for the exhibition. IMPORTANT: If a return shipping label is not provided to ALRI, the Work will not be returned until arrangements are made. If no arrangements are made, a PayPal invoice will be sent to cover the return shipping. Once payment has been made by the Artist, the Work will be shipped.

Care and Handling. The Artist is responsible for the timely provision to ALRI of any special handling and care of, or information on, the Works. Specifically, the Artist will provide detailed specifications on the proper installation of the Works and any items and supplies necessary for such installation. In addition, the Artist will provide ALRI with detailed instructions on the removal and any necessary packing of the Works and any supplies or other materials necessary for the removal of the Works. If the Artist fails to inform ALRI of the proper care and handling of the Works, ALRI will handle them in a manner consistent with reasonable professional standards.

Recall and Cancellation. ALRI will have exclusive possession of the Works during the Exhibition Period. The Artist will not have the right to recall the Works, in whole or in part, prior to the end of the Exhibition Period. ALRI may cancel the Exhibition and this Agreement upon written notice to the Artist.

Copyright and Credits. Without the Artist’s waiving of any copyright to the works held by Artist, Artist agrees that ALRI may, photograph, copy, or otherwise reproduce the Works for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes (e.g. catalogs, websites, presentations, posters, flyers, mailings, and other such materials), provided that the Artist is, in each instance, appropriately credited by ALRI. Subject to such acknowledgment, the Artist represents that the Artist is authorized to, and hereby does, irrevocably grant to ALRI a perpetual, unrestricted reproduction license for the Works for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes. Any materials produced by, for, and in conjunction with the Artist for the Exhibition (including but not limited to all press, promotional, and educational materials) shall note that the Exhibition is/was presented by ALRI and is responsible for the presentation of the Works.

Insurance. Submission of work automatically waives any claim for damage or loss against ALRI, including the officers, members, and employees. ALRI will exercise all reasonable care in handling all artwork but will not assume any liability for loss or damage while in ALRI’s possession. Work should be independently insured by the artist.

Entire Agreement.  This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all previous agreements or representations, oral or written.  If any clause or provision of this Agreement is held or declared to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such holding or declaration shall not in any way affect the reliability or enforceability of any other clause or provision of this Agreement.
