Born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1946, Ali Ashour is an influential figure in the world of contemporary Egyptian art. A student of the legendary Egyptian artists Kamel Mustafa, Hamid Aweys, and Seif Wanly, Ashour began his artistic journey in 1971. His work has spanned over five decades, and he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, both locally and internationally, showcasing Egyptian art across Europe and the Arab world.
Ashour’s contributions to the art scene are profound, having received recognition with several prestigious awards, including an honor at the first Conference of Art Studio in 2008. He is a proud member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists and the Alexandria Atelier of Artists and Writers. His art is represented in the collections of the Ministry of Culture, the Museum of Modern Art, the Egyptian Opera House, and in private collections across the globe, including France, Germany, the USA, and Kuwait.

علم من اعلام الفن المصري المعاصر، وُلد علي عاشور في الإسكندرية، مصر، عام 1946، درس على يد الفنانين المصريين الأسطوريين كمال مصطفى، وحامد عويس، وسيف وانلي، وبدأ مشواره الفني في عام 1971. استمر عمله الفني على مدار أكثر من خمسة عقود، وشارك في العديد من المعارض الفردية والجماعية، محليًا ودوليًا، حيث عرض الفن المصري في أوروبا والعالم العربي.
