Although Beverly Pepper is most known for her large-scale, sit-specific sculptures and land art, The Odyssey Series marks the artist's return to her original medium of painting. Pepper's works reflect her relationship with her environment, and in particular New York where she was born and raised. In her works, Pepper seeks to include the viewer, creating an exchange between the work and its audience.
