Peach Datura Bells

I love these amazing blooms that flower in my garden and have a scent that is truly intoxicating, especially in the evening.

I painted them in a modern style with large blocky brushes, almost abstract. Then the background came afterwards to define details and make the flowers pop!

Painted in a contemporary blocky style with heavy body acrylic paints, this piece is ready to hang without a frame (or could be framed if you choose). The sides of the deep box canvas are painted a subtle sage green/ochre colour.
