Harvey works in sculpture and performance, drawing on craft processes to explore loss, history, and imagined futures. With a particular focus on the past and future ecosystems of the area, Harvey draws on processes of “women’s handiwork,” including sewing zippers together into sculptures and embroidery- centered sculptures and performances, to create disorienting new forms of familiar materials.
