Banana Slugs in Moon Puddle

On a camping trip in Canada (Englishman River Falls, BC) I almost stepped on two banana slugs slowly making their way through the leaf litter. They made me think of all of the lives going about their daily business under and around us that we are unaware of because they dont exist on our scale.
