Statement
Visual communication always fascinated me. But it wasn`t intended to make a living out of it. Besides my professionell careers , i decided to set up a creative practice with acrylicpainting over many years. I learned from different artists in my region of South Germany. All this led me to collageart, which is the form of art i fell in love with. It gives me the possibility and the freedom to play and compose with an immense pool of materials, which are easy to access. I work on stretched canvas and paper or wood in small and lage sizes. Normally i start with an image, iam interested in. I follow the form, the color, the texture and the subject, and let it grow to something new. I chose the materials and forms carefully and without pushing the process. This needs often more patience i usually think i have but at the end i find mostly, its worth it! I love the process with the material and the challenge of a larged sized canvas. Collageart is an adventure and a passion iam very humbled that ive found it. Now, as iam older, i love to create and to share my views about people, landscapes, architecture and nature with even more joy and time.
