ABOUT
Ross Morgan is a contemporary narrative realist painter from Adelaide, South Australia. He is a visual storyteller at heart and often feels inspired to create dreamlike moments reflective of everyday beauty, geometry and gestures. From an early age he was a keen budding artist and always enjoyed drawing, painting and doing arts and crafts projects encouraged by his mother.
Specialising in portraiture, fine art and illustration, he completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at the University of South Australia in 2000. Since then Ross has been exhibiting in numerous solo and group exhibitions, art prizes and running his own independent gallery and studio space. Ross has recently been working on a number of private and commercial commission projects for filmmakers, corporate events, business owners and international art collectors.
He especially loves to observe and experiment with perspective drawing, subtle gestures, facial expressions and the symbolic juxtaposition of objects, creatures and environment.
