Esta pintura continúa mis interpretaciones abstractas de la geología de la tierra, en particular rocas y formaciones rocosas. Es parte de una serie en curso que llamo "Stratageo". A veces, haré referencia vagamente a algunas de mis fotos de caminatas en la naturaleza que presentan formaciones rocosas, pero otras veces trabajo totalmente desde mi imaginación. Eso es lo que hice con esta pintura, simplemente aproveché mi imaginación para crear formas y formas obtenidas de la experiencia y la memoria de ver varias rocas, texturas, colores y estratos que se encuentran en las maravillas geológicas que se pueden encontrar en casi cualquier lugar.

Así que esta pieza se realza intencionalmente, en cuanto a los colores, y tiene una viveza especial, casi eléctrica, en la forma en que fue creada y pintada.

This painting continues my abstract interpretations of the earth's geology, in particular rocks and rock formations. It is part of an ongoing series I call "Stratageo". Sometimes I will loosely reference some of my photos from nature hikes that feature rock formations but other times I work totally from my imagination. That is what I did with this painting, just tapped into my imagination to create shapes and forms gained from the experience and memory of viewing various rocks, textures, colors and stratas found in geological wonders that can be found most anywhere.

So this piece is intentionally enhanced, as to the colors, and has a special vibrance, almost electrical, in the way it was created and painted.
